I have recently downloaded AnyDVD free 21 days trial but decided to delete it the next day. When I deleted AnyDVD, my DVD drive and DVD-RW drive disappeard from my system. I had to get someone more knowledgeable to make the drive "re-appear" again. Then problems continues with error code for even burning unprotected DVD (Phantom Menace). I don't know if this the consequence of deleting AnyDVD. Any help ??

Have you ever deleted the trial from your system or know of anyone who has done it without problems?

Yes - I have done this with success. If you're worried about having issues after you uninstall it, just do a system restore back to the point before you installed it.

No, I honestly can say that I have not deleted it. After seeing the merit to having it I just bought it and have not regretted it. I plan on backing up for years to come so no need to get rid of it. I also saved my registration keys so that if I have to change computers at some point I can do so without have to repurchase it again.

There are a lot of AnyDVD fans in these forums and it is without offence to any of you that I ask for your help, first because after searching hundreds of posts all pertaining to the success of AnyDVD and, second, of all the decrypters AnyDVD has to be mentioned more than any other?anyway I need your help.
With Bewitched I have been unsuccessful in backing up my purchased copy. In one test scenario I am using 1ClickDVD with DVD43 (all are updated to the latest version and my NEC-5100A optical is loaded with the latest firmware). The results of the backup is only one VOB file (it should be about four) and the content of the file is about 15 minutes in length from somewhere around the seventy-percent run time into the movie.
The second test scenario uses 1ClickDVD and the latest version (just released) of AnyDVD. The backup or ripping works fine (four VOB files and other ISO files, etc.) except there is no sound. I noticed another post in one of the forums describing the same problem trying to backup Polar Express -- no sound. Incidentally, Bewitched is being distributed by Sony and Polar Express comes to us from Time Warner.
Between test scenarios I have deleted the opposing decryption software so during Test One, AnyDVD was unloaded using Windows Software Removal and similarly in Test Two, DVD43 was removed.
The commonality could be 1ClickDVD, however, with all the other variables and the results being so radically different I?m thinking I?m dealing with a unique DVD encryption that DVD43 cannot crack and the latest version of AnyDVD is backing up without sound.
Help and comments from the pros is very much appreciated.

Update:
I believe it?s a problem with both movies Polar Express and Bewitched in the decryption process with the latest-just-released version of AnyDVD. When I use the same software combination of AnyDVD and 1ClickDVD to decrypt and backup War of the Worlds, it works fine.
Incidentally for those trying to assist, there is no sound in the VOB file before the file is burned to a blank DVD.
Any help from the senior pros on this one?

@ withDVD,
I have successfully copied Bewitched and Polar Express with no problems what-so-ever.
I used DVDShrink with AnyDVD running in the background and burned with Nero.
No problems so, I don?t really think it?s some kind of ?New? protection?..
Try using something besides 1ClickDVD and see what transpires........

The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves...

No problems with Polar Express, War of the Worlds or Bewitched using AnyDVD/CloneDVD. Aside from the previously mentioned conflict with DVD43, have never had a problem, so I don't think it's the software. Try scanning the original for damage, it's happening more and more these days on factory manufactured dvds.
