My 21 day trial was about to expire so I went ahead and bit the bullet and bought AnyDvD. I figured what the heck, gonna get 5 bucks off thanks to this amazing forum. And I use the heck out of this program and DvDShrink. I'm backing up all my 4yr old's movies so that she can keep the copy in her room and I can protect the original.

While I was at Costco tonight (a membership warehouse store) I bought 200 TDK write on DVD-R blanks for 62 dollars. This should keep me in supply for a month or 3.

Sounds Great,
TDK are at the top of the pile along with Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, Maxell and Sony.

I normally use Verbs but if I ran across TDK?s for that price, I don?t believe I could contain myself. I usually go through that many in a week.. LOL

Any you won?t be sorry about AnyDVD. It?s worth every cent??

Thats a good deal. The Costco in Kingston had Dynex 200 Pack of DVD+R for $39.99 last week. So I picked up two boxes. Paid $59.99 for the same box of 200 at Future Shop a month a go.

I've found that AnyDVD works great in conjunction with Shrink. Making a backup copy of the movies I buy is now a cinch.

I am going to try the trial version shortly. My question is, How does it work? I know it runs in the background so if I put the disk in and use shrink will it save it to my hard drive and then I just use Nero to burn?

Yes. AnyDVD allows Shrink to see the DVD as "not protected". AnyDVD actually Saves you a step. Shrink can the Rip and Shrink at same time. Burn result as you would normally do.

I purchased AnyDVD and Clone last week. I love it. It is way to easy. Well worth the cost. I also just got my first shipment of Taiyos a couple of days ago. I've been on fire.
