That might not be a fair fight to bring them into the safety valve, I'd prefer to beat them on their own turf...LOL

The console kiddies are always in need of a talking to. There's more love for CMC Mag in the PS2 forums then anywhere else on AD. There's nothing quite as invigorating as a 12 year old telling you you're an idiot. The funny way to annoy people is not to outright insult them, but to take a suddle jab at them. On a pointless side note, I was banned from PS2nfo.com. I didn't bother to read the rules, because I didn't care. Anyway I've to back up "The Fog." Boy that Sony Arcoss is some advanced copy protection, there's no way *cough cough* around that. Cheers!

@permiggs, I read that thread you referred to, if it's the guy I think it is then yes he's a real tosser.
He and megabyte2 were going on about a poster being a PIRATE and then megabyte2 started rambling about terrorism, another Tosser.
@binkie7, you still haven't started THAT thread yet!!

This is a neat thread. It's good to get away from the idiocy and repetitive questions in other threads. So who thinks there should be a new post count ranking higher than AD addict? Like at 5,000 posts you could be an AD Lord or s/t lol.

arniebear and all
this has been posted at afterdawn in case ye did not get this beta.
New Version AnyDVD 5.9.0.0 (Beta?)
http://sandbox.slysoft.com/SetupAnyDVD5900.zip
Password Zip: ripper
5.9.0.0, 2006 02 09
- Important: When installing this version over an existing
installation, you must reboot your machine. Otherwise the changes
made in the AnyDVD device driver will not have any effect!
- New: Added workaround for DVDShrink / Nero Recode "Out of memory"
error when copying Macrovision RipGuard protected discs with
menus, e.g. "Madagascar" R1 (US)
- New: Error zones on RipGuard/Arccos/PuppetLock protected titles are
now replaced with "valid material". 3rd party tools like DVDDecrypter
will now work better (no more "Pack Header Error" messages - another try,
this time it should really work).
- Note: To use DVDDecrypter with AnyDVD set I/O Model to SPTI or ElbyCDIO.
Set CSS Cracking method to none. Disable checking for structure
protection.
- New: Added "AnyDVD Ripper". This little tool repairs defective DVDs
while copying them to your harddisk. It can be started from the menu of
the AnyDVD fox icon.
It is identical to FixVTS (http://www.videohelp.com/~FixVTS/) but instead
of fixing problems "in place" it copies the files to your harddisk directly
from the source DVD. It fixes the problems while the files are copied.
Some DVDs which have severe mastering defects e.g.,
"Menace II Society" R1 (US) can now be copied with all DVD copy tools
(elby CloneDVD, DVDShrink, etc.) Many thanks to the author of FixVTS!
"AnyDVD Ripper" is a tool intended as a "last resort". It is not
beautiful, and some of its messages cannot be localized yet.
- Fix: Hang after update check with some system configurations
check out some of me pixs i posted

That's cool, the trial version of AnyDVD I was using didn't get around Sony Arcoss. DVD Region+CSS Free handles it fine. I've had good results with it so far.
