do any of the settings need changed in anydvd to make it perform better? or does the default settings work best?....does anyone check the box under navigation?..jump directly to main movie?

will it cause problems if i check the {jump to main movie box}.
and will it remove the trailers...they are a pain in the butt.

I use AnyDVD in the background and Nero Recode2, movie only. This gives me the best compression ratios without any trailers, or extras, etc.

I just go with the default settings as well. Never had any problems.
