Hi guys,
thanks for your reply GR13.I'm pretty sure I have all the elements correct at this stage.
1. UMD is in the PSP (everbodys golf)
2. correct version of UMDEMULATOR V0.8c
3. correct folder setup :- G:/
- ISO <<<<<<<<<(I put .ISO here)
ISOMISC
ISOSPLIT
- MPROOT
100MNV01 <<<<(I put my movies here)
- PSP
- GAME
DEVHOOK
DEVHOOK%
FASTLOADER
FASTLOADER%
UMDEMULATOR
UMDEMULATOR%
MUSIC
PHOTO
SAVEDATA
UMDEMULATOR
The only other thing I think it could be,is that the .ISO games/files I put into the ISO folder, are the Winrar(three books and a belt) icon.Whereas the DEMO.ISO file that comes with FASTLOADER is the windows (A4 white square,with 6 tiny icons on) icon.The DEMO.ISO file works , as it creates a type of moving screensaver.This makes me think my setup is correct,but maybe something else needs doing to the .ISO's.I have tried several of my .ISO's, but all are (three books and a belt) this icon.
Do you know what icon should appear for an .ISO? Or does it not even matter?
Again all help is much appreciated!

Hello everybody!
I'm new here and I seem to have a problem (like everyone else here :P)
I have bought a psp a few days ago, and I'm trying to get my psp playing ISO files. Now, my psp has Firmaware 2.50. Is there anyway I can downgrade this to 1.50? I have seen downgraders from 2.00 to 1.50 but i've seen none of 2.50 to 1.50 or 2.50 to 2.00
Can anybody help me?? I will be checking this thread every day for answers. Thanks in advance

Open the ISO with winrar, if thats the ISO file you should see a folder PSP_GAME and a file UMD_DATA.bin, if you have more files in ther eg .r01 or .001 then open it with winrar again and your iso should be in there.
Basically keep opening till you see PSP_GAME & UMD_DATA.bin (note when you see this it means the file you just opened was the iso go back one step)

Hey could someone help??!?!?! i think i have EVERYTHING done correctly, i just cant start the game..i think i figured out that, the file tat im puttin into teh "ISO" file is NOT an iso...
ALL i have is the PSP_GAME and the UMD_DATA bin file... so im guessin this is not an ISO file? IF not how do i make it one?

@watuwant... If you only have the PSP_GAME and UMD_DATA.BIN file (which may happen) all you need to do is follow this instructions and create the ISO useing both files.

Got everything to work...EXCEPT bleach 2 heat the soul...Does anyone know of a way to open it? For me it just FREEZES once i open..maybe corrupt file? Or do i need something more than umdemulator?

@watuwant... I know nothing about that game, still stry downloadeing another ISO and try loading it. May be the one you have now is corrupt.

I have a question... for having the 1.5 crack i guess.. Since i had to downgrade to 1.5 some of the newer games wont play.. Is that just something that u sacrifice? Is there a way to play new games and at the same time have the crack/ umdemulator to work?

@ watuwant.........I have bleach 2 and it loads fine. use direct load or copy load in the settings. There are 2.0 games that will play in the umd emulator like prince of persia and even metal gear acid 2, Pac-man world 3 (with fixes) but other other games like Streetfighter3 or KingKong just won't load. Oh well, we can't have all the things we want.

Hi guys, would like to know whether 'Tales of Eternia EUR' works at all as it keeps freezing on me when i try to load on UMDEmulator V0.8c. Note: i am using a Japanese UMD to load it, dunno if that is the problem. Also got the PSP from Hong Kong.
If the problem is not that 'ToE EUR' works on firmware 1.50, i dunno wat the problem is. Seems that 'MGA US' seemed to worked fine with Fastloader, but that doesnt work either for ToE. Even tried DevHook 0.22 and changing around the Iso emu mode. Says 'This disc cannot be read.' when i use System Menu and DevHook.
Any suggestions would b a great help thnx! and sorry to the guys who might b repeatin themselves ere.

Doesnt matter found out wat the problem was, it seems that i extracted the WinRAR file when im not suppose to as the file itself was an Iso file, no wonder why i couldnt find an iso file :P well it was my own fault. Live and learn i say :D hope this may help those who didnt know about it.

Hi, i'm sorry if you already answered this but... I did everything right. i think. my psp v1.5~ and i put the umd emulator in root folder + iso in root folder n the 2 UMD and UMD% in game folder.. i put the iso in the ISO folder.. i try to run the game using UMD emulator n i see the game, i run it but it crashes... i tried using the devhook but it crashed aswell.. im trying to play Street Fighter Alpha and it crashes... i tried using all the different options on UMD emulator but it still crashed.. i tried copy load direct load n all that... also there is a UMD inside i need help =(

So I have 1.5 PSP with UMDEMULATOR V0.8C and MPHloader1.0 and I can't seem to load Generation of Chaos.
Is the game too new? Or am I just doing something wrong...?

I loaded all the files onto my PSPS memory stick and loaded a Homebrew iso into the iso folder. I then start up the emulator and get a menu but no green wallpaper for the emulator jsut black.. I update all the settings and then move down where I believe the iso is on the menu(as it is black) and select it then just shutsdown. Now I only have a 32MB card right now is that the problem...should I have more than that? I have a 2GB card on it's way... just need some insight.
