Does AnyDVD enable full speed reads?

Pretty sure the answer is no because I think it happens in the drive itself, but does AnyDVD defeat the nodgering of DVD drives that prevents them reading DVD's faster than double speed?

Is there any way to get around this limitation?

Maybe not Decrypter, but if you have Nero, under toolkit, there is this.

If i had a DVD in the drive there would have been a read speed option. Give that a try..
