Yeah those should work fine. I've heard rumors about DVD+R not working well in some PS2s, but it's not like I can back up that claim. I verbatim is a good company though, so if any DVD+Rs would work, it'd be them.
I've tried it with multiple media types, such as TDK and Verbatim, DVD-R and DVD+R and I still can't get a copy that loads up every time, in fact I hardly ever get a copy thay even loads up once.
I've even rebuilt it manually using different programs and using GNIE's ISO rebuilder, but nothing works.
I am using Swap Magic 3.3 and a Flip lid for a v7 (PAL) PS2.
could be the version you have of swap magic. I know the compatibility of earlier versions of SMD are less reliable, though I can't explain why. If you have a friend who has 3.6, I'd have them test out one of the disks you got to work before and see how easily it boots. I haven't DLed guitar hero 2 yet so I haven't had a chance to see for myself.

Problem: It's a PAL game, and as such it doesn't display properly on my TV. Although, the game runs fine. I have used the Video mode option on my Swap magic software, and it doesn't make a differance. I have patched the ISO since then, just waiting on some more media. I just wanted to know if this was a common problem or if my Swap magic was busted.
