Anydvd error on new version
While running in the background for about 30 mins or so after install I get this message:
"File corrupted. Plus run a virus check then reinstall Anydvd"
I have reinstalled it, get the same problem.
Ran virus scan, none found.
No adaware either...
:-\. Why is this happening?

Isn't this a crack alert?

I suspect, sir, that it most assuredly is.
That message is what comes up when AnyDVD detects that it has been cracked.
I suspect that it might ALSO come up at some future time if the program is compromised by Starforce, Safedisc, or some other "anti-piracy" tool.
But at the current moment, no software OTHER than a crack is known to cause this message.
SO... uninstall AnyDVD, reinstall it, and if the error persists... *ahem*

Ultimately I agree with Zaq.
The sad fact is though as soon as this problem is recognised their will be a crack put out to fix it I truly don't see how Sly will get around it (a quick search on Google would probably verify this).
Me myself the support from the company is worth spending the money to get a legitimate key.

From a posting on CDFreaks......
"The "File corrupted - please reinstall AnyDVD & run a virus check" message is only displayed, if the AnyDVD executable has been modified. It is a simple integrity check. Reinstalling AnyDVD will always repair the problem. This message will not be displayed for any other reason (wrong registration key, etc.)
The question is - why was the AnyDVD executable changed. One reason could be a virus infection (hence the message "run a virus check"). Another could be a hardware problem (but I doubt that the computer would run stable long enough to even boot Windows).
If you modify AnyDVD intentionally - either by using a hex editor, or by using one of the various "cracks" - you will see this message sooner or later.
If you see this message, I would say in 99.99% of the cases you have used a patch to bypass the registration check. And if you posted this in a public message board you have exposed yourself pretty well.

I had a problem sort of like this. Mine was when I added another HDD to my pc and was moving things around. I ended up reinstalling the program and problem was fixed.
If you are trying to use a crack, just give up and pay the price. The program is well worth it and will save you a ton of time and headaches!
Shovels Rule!
