@stagass. i think someone on this post said the name of the game that allows internet browsing is wipeout pure. i believe this is not the same program that tricks the psp into thinking u have a higher firmware.
p.s. if i forgot to mention, wipeout pure is a game and u need to do some trick with the psp into allowing u to access the internet throught wipeout. just google it and u will find the web browser trick

Hey people..... I jst downloaded like 3 games 4 d psp. My question is- Can u put downloaded games on ur memory stick nd play dem? and ne news on a 2.6 downgrade? i tried trade mine in bt dey nly hav v2.6......:( neways plz sum1 answer d first question neway tnx ;)

yes you can for some games. Here is the compatibilty list.

If the games not there. Im guessing it wont load. You will need the laoders too.

not really. I Think perosnally there concentrating on homebrew and other gadgets for the 1.5, i think it will be while when it comes out. But you can play Homebrew (snes emulaoators and stuff) on your 2.6 psp.

Don't take this the wrong way, but, are you missing keys on your keyboard? I can hardly read that. I swear, it took me 2 minutes to figure out how to translate that into text I could actually comprehend.
Anyways, as for the 2.6 downgrader; no, there will more than likely be no sort of PSP FW v2.6 downgrader in the near future. The firmware was hardcoded into the internal memory after the 2.0 firmware. Hence why there are no possible ways to do such a thing if it is 2.01 or higher. Earlier editions of the firmware, though, were written in the flash memory, so they could be upgraded (and sucessfully downgraded) at that point in time. In my opinion, I think Sony caught on and changed the way they started doing their updates for their firmware. But alas, they covered the whole thing up; more than likely telling everyone it was just to fix more bugs and whatnot. What a façade.
Also, what a great peice of machinery.
