Using ANYDVD & CLONEDVD & still won't work (Chicken lil, Enron, Jarhead, & others.)
I'm using both anydvd & clonedvd2 and when I try to back up the listed movies & others clonedvd2 will start creating the image & then freeze up in the middle.
Can some help me? I'v been backng up all my movies so I can yuse them in in a htpc.
What's the best way to ripp them so they can be used error free in an htpc?
do you have the the latest updated virsion of AnyDVD 4.1 also clone dvd2 2.8.9.2 go to www. dvdplusvideo.com and go to guides,then click on on bbmayos ,this will help you
The newest version of AnyDVD should be able to handle those movies. If, by some strange reason it doesn't work, try another method like DVDFab or VOBB.
Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie
Chicken Little should not have any problem. I am using CloneDVD2 2.8.8.2 & my AnyDVD is not updated for a month. I only update when I faced a problem. I think you do not have enough HDD space or it's very fragmented.
Just last night, I tried to backup an old educational DVD in not so good condition. I used CloneDVD2 & got a 'cyclic redundancy' error at 25%. I switched over to DVD Shrink & finished the backup without any problems. It's good to have a few ripping software at hand.
