AnyDVD 5.9.5.2 VOB fix from Slysoft

I'm wondering if anybody esle ran into this problem.

I ripped Derailed with Slysofts ripper utility and found it boggled the VOB's. It's real wierd. When I open the movie in shrink (movie only) I get the chapters all out of order, but the movie is full. If that doesn't make sense try and see it this way. It's like the move istarts and it's chapters 8 and 9 then credits, chapters 1 and 3 then credits then the beginning of the movie [splash] then it finishes. The whole entire movie is there by all accounts determined by the lenght of the movie but it's all out of order. Is there anyway to fix this? I'm not a pro at this. I just went online and tried some download trials. I tried IFO edit and created new IFO's. That didn't fix it. I then tryied DVD Rebuilder and that didn't work either. Does anybody have any ideas how I can put this in order so it's corrected?

Try updating to the latest version 5.9.5.6 that may help.

Thanks for the reply, but I already have that, The movie has already been ripped. I did it again but the idea is that i'd like to know why it did tha.

This could be why => Bug introduced in 5.9.5.2, on some DVDs title sets could be accidently deleted (AnyDVD mistook them as decoys from the newest SONY ArccoS protections. You should rip again with the newest version of anydvd running.

@pntyliner, I had this happen with "Fun with Dick&Jane" which I initially ran through the AnyDVD "Ripper" 5.9.5.3 I had trouble opening the file so I ran the same file though Vob Blanker 2.0.1.1 which gave me a Pop-up that said there were errors in the file and that I needed activate the VOB-scan option to fix this. I checked off the scan setting Vob Blanker then began to process the file I later backed up the file to disc using NERO Recode2.:P

@N2DVD....Cool, thanks for the ups. Isn't that wierd? I was tinkering with converting each VOB to AVI then reordering but had no idea which order to pu t them in. That was the wierdest think. I guess once something wierd happensy0u kind of want to figure it out anyway. Thanks for the tip
