Keep both sets for each provider updated even though only one shows active. If either set is wrong it won't work. If you install the new auto roll bin file you won't have to worry about keys right now. Install the bin, turn auto roll back on.

Using Bell & Dish with Pansat 3500s
Hey Guys
How do you guys use Bell and Dish with the Pansat 3500s? Do you have two dishes? Do they point in different directions? With the Bell do you get Canadian Programming?
Thanks
Thanks

Most use 2 dish setups one for DN and one for BEV. Dish sats are at 110 and 119 degrees west. Bev sats at 82 and 91 degrees west.

Depending on your dish setups, you can usually get 2 sats off one dish.
Example:: I get both 110/119 off a single 18 inch dish. I think you can do the same type setup with 82/91 with the proper equipment. I don't mess with the BEV sats. Too many channels on the 2 I have now to worry about.

@crowbar91, you need 2 dishes. One for DN and one aimed at BEV.
@CPK2006, YES, once you set up a dish for BEV you will get channels from Canada. Bev is the Canadian sat provider like DN is in the USA, but since the signals from both providers overlap each other many people can get both once everything is set up properly.

Does anyone have two (2) receivers working off one 18" dish? If so how did you do this? I want to run a Viewsat and Pansat off one dish.
Thanks

@CPK2006, You have to look at your LNB outputs. This is where you connect the cable. If the LNB has one screw on connector, you can run 1 receiver. If it has 2 screw on connectors then you run 2 cables into your house, one to each receiver. That will give you a choice of different channels on 2 different TV sets.

Jerry - First, thank you for all the help you provide on this Forum. You've helped out a lot of folks (like myself) who just do not keep up with this technology.
Any luck finding a clone safe bin with the autoroll working? My clone 3500 receiver is up and running, but updating keys manually everyday is a drag. Still better than no signal at all of course, but a drag none the less.... thanks.

When you said: I get both 110/119 off a single 18 inch dish.
Is 110 and 119 two different sat's in space? How do I know if I get those in the Pansat 3500s menu?
Thanks

Hi,
I have been following this thread very closely and trying to get my Pansat 3500S up and running. I have had no luck until now. I did upload the lastest binary (atleast I think it is the lastest binary from 09.26.06) but whenever I browse to the channel on my pansat I get error stating Scrambled or Bad Info.
Hence I am not sure if I have an incorrect binary or am I missing anything. The signal strength for all the channels is excellent. I have scanned all the satellites several times.
Can some one please help this stupid newbie??
Also do I manually change the keys on my Pansat. I did not find any option on the pansat to change them. I got the new keys from hashhu that Jerry pointed out to.
Any Help Would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Akash

@CPK2006, Yes I get 2 sats off the 18 inch dish, but you have to modify the dish with 2 LNBs attached. Check out this link to what is called a POOR MAN'S DISH setup.

@akash001, There is another bin out about a week ago that fixed the key auto roll problem. It is titled a TEMP FIX bin but works well. You can also shut off the auto roll feature with the bin you have installed now and manually enter the key numbers. But this becomes a pain if DN starts changing keys too often.
Papakevin, I think this is the one you have been waiting for. Its listed as Clone Safe.
