i just wanted to say i used ANYDVD's (FreeTrial) for 20 days just for 1 movie backup and it was Great i recentely bought HOSTEL and could not even back it up!!! but now my freetrial is gone does anyone know where i could get the code for this program?? or do i have to buy it?? i will if i buy more Copy Protected DVDs.
well will that let me run it in the backround and use DVDshrink... to make it an ISO image? like it did for Hostel? bacause i bought HOSTEL and the sony thing would not let me back it up.. b/c it had a invaled navagation structer... i need something that will let me get past sony's copy protection structer, cause i buy alot of sony DVD's like Hostel,fun with Dick and Jane, hollow man 2... and if i can't make back-ups why buy them?!?!? if thats the case i wont give SONY any more money.
You can always go the "free" route. There is a little more work involved, but so far, I've had 100% success backing these titles up. I'm cheap and as long as I can get the job done without laying out additional cash, I'm happy. I think AnyDVD and CloneDVD are well worth the price. Slysoft is constantly updating their programs to get through newer encryption and they are very easy to use. I purchased AnyDVD, CloneDVD and CloneCD for $78. I back up every movie I buy and save the originals from getting damaged. Well Worth It!
acutally i do go for the FREE rotune and im sorry.... also the program im talking about is NOT AnyDVD it is (DVD region free) my trial expired and i was wondering if i should buy it because it worked perfect for what i needed... it ran in the backround and let me burn through DVDSHRINK ...... making it into an ISO image. and again im sorry for being Cheap i just dont want to buy dvds i can't back-up!!! also sorry for getting that program name wrong... it would have made it a lot easier if i would have named the program Right... for in fact it is DVD region free and not AnyDVD. oops..
If it wasn't AnyDVD then by all means go to slysoft.com and download AnyDVD free 21 day trial. After using it you will want to buy it. It enables all your favorite programs to work as if the discs are unencrypted.
plus AnyDVD also will automatically skip all those annoying adverts and FBI warnings too! It's one of the best pieces of software I ever bought! I only wish that they wouldn't stress words like 'crack' and wish they'd remove the 'rip video-dvd to hdd' option from it as well...
I know that Antigua Carribean is currently out of reach from the MPAA and RIAA but this wonderful little island wants the US to endorse their online gambling and I could see that their allowing programs (like AnyDVD) that the mpaa/riaa dont like, to be a great bargaining chip for our elected thugs, ahem... I mean politicians... to try to use their muscle (I mean influence) to force (oops I meant persuade) the island to adopt the same crooked laws (dang! I meant wise, prudent, and pro-business as well as pro-law abiding consumer laws) that we have had forced upon us!
