and WMA files will work if you have a 2.71 FW with the WMA files unlucked.

Hey guys. I was wondering. You know the cheat programme that you can get GTA LCS. Will it work if I am loading my GTA through devhook?
And, does anyone know where I can find it? or what its proper name is so I can at least google for it.

the cheat device is called, edison carters cheat device,and you have to install 2.6 firmware in devhook to use it

@nods just use the ultimate installer and choose install 2.6 firmware files

noDS Devhook 0.46 is only the app. you need to get 2.6 FW files that go in your MS root dh/260(get an old DH installer that has them)
Ultimate Installer USB Edition v0.2 (Offline) It has 2.6 and the cheat device.
The cheat device will not work with FW 2.71.

Hi, As you may have guessed I'm new here. I recently installed Dark_Alex's 2.71 SE-A Custom Firmware and was wandering if someone could perhaps provide a few steps on how I would go about installing DevHook on my new firmware. This is my first time installing DevHook too! I don't know if it has already been covered in this topic yet cos I'm not quite sure on how you search topics.
Thanks for any help!

I got everything installed and I do have the 2.60 files in my dh folder. The application seems to bomb out the GTA iso when i start up the game. I downloaded the UK version of the cheat device as I have a UK version on GTA.
Any other ideas!? or does anyone know what could be wrong?

Look for a cheat device thread where they can help you.
Tell them where you put the files.

If he can go in to 2.6 FW and load GTA and then cheat device make it freeze.(that dose not have anyting to do with DH)
It is going to be where he put the files.(or if he has a patched GTA UMD?)
You need a unpatched GTA UMD so cheat device work.(look for a thread)

Its ok. I got it to work.
Legend: Thaks for standing up for me. Really appreciate it. I thought that it did have relevance to Devhook. Apparently I was mistaken.

The name tell you what it is. gta cheat device(cheats for GTA)and if you looked at all the post in this page you can see that.

I was at the first dev-hook problems question thread and that is how I got the link for this thread.
Try to use this thread only for Devhook.(that is all I what) and all will be ok.

Yes 2.80 and 2.81 have been decrepted(they were decrepted when 2.81 came out)
All we need is a new DH to emulate 2.81
Star Trek Tactical Assault has a 2.81 FW update
Ford Bold Moves Street Racing has a 2.80 FW update
(I will try them today and tell you if it works with 2.71)
