ok tried loading iso......do u have to have a umd in? anyway loaded up game and went to psp scr...stayed there for 10secs then turned off. i turn it back on its reset itself and its back to 2.71 again.
what happened?

i did have a umd in...the game pic was there raw vs smackdown, i clicked on it, the psp screen loaded up stayed there then psp turned off..then it reset it self asking me for language, all that crap again.

So the game doesn't boot? Or does it freeze after it boots?
It might be a bad ISO then. Have you tried any other ISOs and do they work?

i tried another easy installer....finally got the 3.02 to work.
all isos ive tried now are working!!!! tried 3 now!
thanx for the patience and all answers from everyone that helped..
i now intend to teach my friends now who have psps.
thanx again!

hi guys got my devhook 0.51 working yesterday well pleased however wen i load up my gta lcs iso it works fine but then starts to get really laggy and then says cant read iso any help would be greatfully recieved apart from that nice work every one involved in making this.

Hi, i have a noob question as a noob is what i am ( or so i think now lol). I got my new PSP and downgraded to 1.5 no problems, had Devhook running ( i think it was 0.46 ) and all was good. For some reason i am still trying to think of, i formatted my memory card!! Now i have no Devhook.. What can i do to fix it??

hi
just fooled around with this and everything seems to work ok except that I have to take out battery pack for a few sec everttime I will change to play another iso game?Anyone else with this error?
what is the command for getting back from devhook 0.51 to main 1.5 firmware menu?

well the fix for my problem was extremely easy, once i found my ez installer, i reinstalled Devhook and everything is back to normal.

@TOM321- Is the ISO compressed (i.e is it a .cso file)? If so, decompress it using ISO Compressor and then it wont lag. Also try increasing the clock speed to 333/166 in the DevHook menu.
@kingsizes- To get back to firmware 1.5 just go to the emulated 3.02 XMB (main menu). Then press HOME and then select EXIT DEVHOOK and then YES.

Thanks for all of the replies... I have all the ISOs working and got rid of the UMDemulator and Fastloader. I am going to stick with Devhook .46 until I need to change.Thanks especially to Eternalis. Anyone else hooked on Syphon Filter? This game kicks butt...the ISO never messes up at all. One more question...what do I need to create an ISO off of the UMDs I own?

To create a dump of the UMDs you own use fastloader (that you just deleted :) ). Download it from here:

Just insert the UMD you want to make into an ISO and then run Fast loader and it will give you an option to dump it.

ok...I'm slightly confused by my PSP. I just got the new devhook, 0.51.01, and placed everything where it needed to go. I also got the MGS: PO ISO and put that where needed. I loaded up devhook and didn't do the "install to flash 1" thing, by mistake, so I got the BSoD in 3.02 when I tried to emulate. I was able to play the game, but once I exited DevHook to 2.71 SE-C, I was unable to load devhook again. It gave me the PSP gameboot, and shut off. I formatted the MS, I restored default settings (essentially formatting the flash, right?) and started from scratch, but nothing works...am I gonna have to go back to 1.5 and reinstall 2.71 SE-C? or would that work...help?

I'm running devhook 0.4x with hend since I have a ta-082 and am having trouble running a couple of games from iso's. Killzone liberation and wwe svr 2007, is it because of my firmware, devhook version or they just don't run with my setup. TIA

@Some_guy- You will most likely have to reinstall 2.71 SE-C to get it working again.
@pholly- Try using DevHook 0.51. Also, Smackdown Vs RAW requires some fixing, see here:
