Can I get the link so I can run both .51 dh and .4x devhook at the same >time ? need a tutorial as im lost.

Hi...i just updated my dev hook to v0.51 but for some reason it does not work properly. The only dev hook version that works with my psp is .46. It's fw is 1.5 but i still do not know why it does not work. Is v0.51 devhook compatible with 1.5 or is it only compatible with 2.71. When i try to run .51 right after i press start. the psp automatically shuts off itself...any tips on how to solve this problem?

it say's something like
"start upt eh dev hook
save launcher setting
rebooting system" but it's fine when i boot it up with v.46

DevHook v0.51 FW 2.81-3.02 Exit Crash Fix For PSP
Why devhook crashes when exiting game in 2.81-3.02 mode...
Well I finally figured out why devhook crashes in some peoples psp's when emulating firmware greater than 2.71 & exiting a game or devhook.
I was looking in the sdk and I noticed that when you exit a game or quit devhook - devhook looks in the psp GAME folder for a folder called DEVHOOK, then it looks in that folder for the eboot launcher.
If you don't have your launcher in PSP/GAME/DEVHOOK/eboot.pbp when you exit a game or devhook - it will be prone to crashing.
If using 2.71 sec, make sure you go to advanced and set it to use the 1.50 kernel.
Other than that devhook should now work fine.

I've got devhook 0.51 as a non-kxploited folder named DEVHOOK in PSP/GAME
At the moment the only thing I am using it for is to play the Loco Roco Xmas demo. It all loads up fine and works, but crashes when I exit, it just hangs on the Home screen. I read somewhere about swapping over files from a 3.00 dump into the 3.02 firmware fixes this problem, can anyone confirm this or offer another solution?
1.0 eboot in PSP/GAME/DEVHOOK on SE-C.
Oh, I have not flashed anything from Devhook to flash1, as it loaded fine without flashing. Could that be the problem?

DHv51.01 is a flash-less version.(you can flash it if you what)
I used my flash1 from my 2.71 FW dump(rename it to f1 and put it the FW folder you what to use) I use 3.01 FW that works better then 3.02

whenever i boot devhook the screen turns black and says this......
Save launcher setting
Loading devhook
Dh Ver. :0. 51. 0000
Reboot System
Then the screen goes completely black then turns off after about 10 seconds.
Ive tried over 20 different ways of installing devhook and every time i still get the same error.
This is driving me INSANE!
Can anyone please can help me!!!

@ Eternalis, thanks for the guide, and Juan2320, thanks for the info.
In Eternalis' guide, it has -
"5. Set the firmware to 3.02. Then go to FLASH ROM-->"Install configfiles to flash1:" and press O for 1 second and the flashing will begin."
I haven't ever done this part, so could that be giving me the exit problems?

Hi there i have psp 1.5 firmware does dev hook .51 work on all isos at moment i have dev 46 and it loads every game i have,apart from metal gear opps and wws vs raw 2007 and im a bit reluctant to try and install dev 51 (has im useless with things like this but am willing to give a go)i have 3 memory cards am i right in thinking i could install dev 51 on 1 card and dev 46 on another without actually doing anything to psp and if dev 51 could not load iso for any reason i could but memory card with dev 46 in to start(OBVIOUSLY ONLY FOR GAMES WITH LOWER FW OF 2.81) im so happy with dev 46 scared il do something wrong any help will be brill

I flashed and backed up using those two Devhook menu options, but still freeze on the home screen out of NFS: Carbon and Loco Roco Xmas.
Might try switching files from 3.00 to 3.02 as I read somewhere.

Howdy! New to the PSP scene and this forum is great! - anyhows Im having a tad problem with the DEVHOOK and USB. when I connect my 1.5 psp to my computer it displays USB DEVICE not PSP TYPE B connected -it means I cant install the drivers that come with the USBHOSTS application, so it cant connect. Any help would be much appreciated.

hi there ive got my new white 1.50 psp in front of me and 2 gb card and auto installer on the desktop.
the trouble is when i'm transferring files from ms root folder i get stuck on 55 % where am i going wrong ?
please help...

Hi guys, hope you can help me again as you have always done!
i went from a 2.71 psp to a 1.5 psp and back to a 2.71 again all in hope of gettin devhook 0.51 to run my smackdown vs raw 2007 iso! i have had no luck at all and as a super noob i really need a idiots guide to installing it and then running the iso's, the problem i had was i would run devhook choose my iso but when i went to load it it, it just shuts down my psp..also will installing the 0.51 devhook, brick my psp? is there even a slight chance? thanks in advance..

how do i enable wifi play for ATV offroad Fury Pro? doesn't seem to work... (running @ 333 with 2.xx to 2.00 enabled)

i'm just wondering i have sonic rivals on my 1.5 psp and i use devhook 0.46. i know that on devhook 0.46 you can switch to different firmwares, do i need to switch to a different firmware to play sonic rivals? please someone help me! many thankx

im not having problems with crashing when exiting a game... i could only dream of getting to that point lol, its when i start devhook 0.51 on my 1.5 input all the settings iso etc... and EXIT devhook that it crashes.... HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please
