lcs is cool the graphics were much better the all the 3-SA due to the new rendering engine which has replaced the old 2000 renderer

MGS3, thats a good game the 2 things i didnt like about was trying to kill that sniper! it took ages! and when you had to walk through that river, i really didnt have a clue what was going on there.

lol, I will agree with you on the river bit, that was just wierd! The fight with The End (sniper guy) was one of the best boss fights I have ever had on any game. I loved it. Yes, it took a long time but the idea of having a fight with the greatest sniper of all time, in a forest that he is at one with is so cool. The odds are so stacked against you that it feels amazing when you beat him!

i think the main reason i hated the fight with "the end" so much was because i was just running around the forest none stop trying to find him ( i did that for a good 2hours ) , eventually a friend told me you could use yhe map to help u. lol
good thing is i didnt even have to sniper him, i saw him run past me and chased him he got stuck so i kept on stabbing him (i think) i know i killed him like that but cant remember what weapon it was very well,
im sure it was the knife

If you kill the end while he is in the wheelchair a few scenes before, you don't even have to deal with him in the forest, you can just shoot his cronies which is much easier

yea, that was one of the best boss fights in a game, and mgs3 is one of my favorite games for ps2. Along with kingdom hearts 1 & 2, and gta. . .

for me I gone have to say Devil May Cry 1 , it has my vote because it changed gaming in my eyes even though it should have had better reviews . the fact that you have guns and a sword at the same time really made me vote this one and ever since I played DMC when I play other games similar they feel naked now. if they are just hack and slash I feel like somethin is missing(Guns)that lets me know how much Dante changed me . bosses ,devil trigger , graphics , weapons yeah this is the vote from me
Kitty Kung Fu Hustle !

I'd say the GTA series as there is so much to do and you don't even get bored.

Well, my favourite is definitely Metal Gear Solid. All parts. It's one of those games which have a real STORY. Not just go an' shoot'em, there are really cool characters in it, each with an own personality, and the game itself is like a movie of some sort. The music is pretty good in it as well.

I have to agree with a lot of the games listed here, Gran Turismo, Resident Evil. Didnt play to much Metal Gear, just whenever I was at the neighbors and got bored but it was fun. Dragon Quest I'm still working through, it is great except you have to spend a lot of time leveling up, I've spent the last four hours doing that =(. Devil May Cry is a great game, thought that Devil May Cry wasnt quite up to par with the first but it was also really good. Devil May Cry was a b***h to beat but I did and it was absolutely amazing. And of course there is Final Fantasy 10 to consider along with SSX and God of War. I know I put down a lot of games there but there was just to many great games for the PS2.

God of War is brilliant but the only SSX game I would consider being in this debate is SSX Tricky. The later ones got too big especially On Tour where everything was all on one HUGE mountain. I also gotta agree with DMC1 being here, I never completed it but it was amazing from what I played.
@wetsparks where are you in Dragon Quest? Im about 85 hours in and havnt found leveling up to be too much of a problem. Still havnt visited the floating island (thats the only bit I still have to do) and my hero is on level 40.
Oh and what about Splinter Cell? I thought all of them were pretty good especially Chaos Theory. Anyone for Soul Calibur?

Im 35 hours in or so and I have to beat Dhoulmagus on that one island. I got my @$$ kicked by him once, looked on gamefaqs.com and the dude sugested level 30 for my characters because of some skill for Angelo. So I have spent the last several hours trying to get there.

The most dominating series on ps2 are Gt series and GTA series by the looks on the rankings they are equal as gamespot says SA is no.1 and ign says that about GT4 i wold go for GT
