I am having a hard time with the downloading. I tried the other way and it didn't work, so I decided to use the AnyDVD. I can download the dvd from the AnyDVD, but I dont know what to go from there.

Hi cosme017
Just a bit confusing here. Are you having problems downloading from the net or backing up a movie?
From slysoft site you download the program to install. Have you installed it?
By default AnyDVD is set to auto start - it just runs in the background removing the copy protection. Use it with Shrink, CloneDVD, Recode etc.
If it's on you'll see a red fox in the system tray. Do you see this (see pic)

Ok - you ripped the files to your hard drive now open Shrink and use the 'open files' option. Pick the video_ts folder that AnyDVD ripped to.
You should be set from there.
Another option is just to have AnyDVD on and use Shrink as usually. Since Shrink is no longer updated there's more and more movies like Disney and Sony ones that it can't handle by itself.
Give that a go and let us know how it turns out!

Not bothering me :) That's what we're here for - help out when we can.
Try this - put the original disc in the drive - have AnyDVD on - now open the disc in shrink. Once it gets down analyizing - click on 'unreferenced material' - to the right under 'video' change to 'still image'
I was able to back up Inside Man w/ AnyDVD and Shrink. This one does have the newer protection that Shrink can't handle alone.
See if that does the trick for you and let us know.

That part (video - still image)is in Shrink. Let AnyDVD read the DVD - now open Shrink and use 'open disc'.
Unreferenced material will be under the Disc Structure (left hand side) usually under right below extras - then look to the right and you'll see a drop down under video to change to a still image.
Yep that the protection on this! AnyDVD can handle it though.

Hi cosme017
No need to be sorry.
Put the disc back in the drive - wait for the 'new media info' pop up to appear (what you posted above).
Now use the open disc in Shrink and go do what you usually do. Don't rip again. Let's try this way 1st.
I did not need to make the unreferenced material as still image though others did. But AnyDVD has been updated a couple times since then.
In Shrink here's a pic - you would change to still image by clicking on the scroll bar under 'video' (in pic automatic is shown)

Keep us posted!

Ooops sorry should have elaborated. Shrink from the looks of your post has already analyized it. Now you can change the 'unreferenced material' to a still image and then click 'back up' in shrink.
Shrink will then encode. Do you have Nero installed? Shrink autoburns w/ it or you can auto burn w/ decrypter.
