- New: Added support for new versions of the SONY Arccos protection
to the option to remove "Protection based on unreadable Sectors"

Well, I downloaded the new version but have not yet installed it. I think I will wait a bit and see if these issues are corrected with a new release.
Good luck to you folks.

@abbccdd:
Can you try a previous version?
Unless the problem isn't AnyDVD, but something else which causes a conflict...???

i just reinstalled it for the third time and backed up the new Scooby-Doo and it seems to be working fine now.
it was the dvd i was trying to do last night which was a backed up copy of Bambi 2 that caused the problem,probably had some problems on it being a Disney movie

Just a mention that the latest AnyDVD update totally locked up my computer (XP) to the point I had to shut down manually after the update reboot. After restarting a few minutes later, all seemed fine and I shut AnyDVD down in msconfig and start it manually. Things seem fine still but it would be nice to know what happened. Wish I had waited; first time I jumped on a new update of anything.

I don't appear to have any of the issues mentioned as of yet. I have not ever had any with AnyDVD Updates. Nor CloneDVD 2 updates either.
All has went well. Slysoft has done very well with updates.

Wow, weird, I don't ave the kind of problems that you guys had, and maybe this doesnt have anything to do with it, but last week when I did update AnyDVD, all of a sudden I wasnt getting any mail from afterdawn for a whole week, said to myself why so quite, than I visited the site on my own and got on to make a reply to one of my old posts and found out I could'nt cause my e-mail address became invalid, it gave several solutions and some ways to fix I followed all of them and still nothing, I havent changed any kind of setting, everything was the same, am still getting all my e-mails from different sites that I have been for years but not AD, I wrote to AD and I had to rectivate twice before I got on again, again, probably nothing to do with the AnyDVD update but sure is weird that this happined right after I updated, go figure.

Of course there is. People aren't imagining the same problems. The fact that things seem fine, now, on my system doesn't mean they are. I run a pretty lean system and it was definitely the update to AnyDVD that caused the problem. That doesn't mean it's not a fantastic program, it is but the update definitely has problems.

No check on the processor but I did email Slysoft of the problem I had. Response was fast but specifically not requested and I received keys for every program I ever bought from them. They even had the invoice from a year ago. When I emailed them again of their mistake, I received the keys again and 7 other emails from them telling me how to install the keys (all the same) and showing my reply to them. They were'nt automated responses either. Superfast, though. Weird
