this is from keal on pspjunior's thread:
you can play these games that are 2.80 or 2.81.i played GTA:vice city storiesworks like a charm.ace combat X works too.
GTA : VICE CITY STORIES
if you want the game,u will have to find it in
Gamestorrents.com size is 387mbrar UMDRIP ONLY.
OR
blackcats-games.net around the size of 780mbrar fulliso,actual size is 1.7gb or more
it does not matter if u have dark_alex devhook or chunglams devhook,to make it work.and yes it uses 2.81 firmware but their is a way to play it in our 2.71 firmware devhook.
get the game then do these settings in devhook menu,
firmware : 2.71
UFO VERSION : 2.xx to 2.00
remember to enable HENC,but it really does not matter.
Enabling HENC Lets you go back to devhook but if u disable HENC,u will need to HARDRESET your psp to get out of the current firware devhook.

those steps on the easy installer basically follow exactly what the do-it your implies.. and i know i did it right.. i will do it for the sake of doing it tho.. then get back to ya.. thanks alot for the response regardless of it working or not

no i never got any pack.. i just got the psp alone with charger.
i bought the 4gb stick from a computer factory so.. heh.

well .. im just guessing .. might be a fake memory card ..
i guessed cuz its happening to me .. i bought a 2gb mcard pro duo from an online auction .. it says that it was from a factory .. (which factor ? who knows )..
right after setting up devhook, everything went black .. nuthin happens .. but all the files are inside ..
tried copy other files like mp3 or mp4 .. can .. no problem .. but when i wanna access it .. it says corrupted data .. sheesh ! i dunno Donst4r, this is MY guess ..

Hey , i just downloaded Valkyrie Profile and when i play it everything seems to be fine until the first battle .. It freezes and resets .. Any solution ? btw when i downloaded it , the file is CSO .. should i convert it to ISO ? If so , how will i do it ? sry for my noob questions .

dude this is from a computer shop and not a made up brand..
or clone..
it's a sandisk... from magic gate.. magic gate and sony are the leaders in pro duo sticks..
you ordered on ebay a memory stick thats a clone from like jap or uk. .
i'ma try music

I tired the steps that supra00 gave but i still cant get the iso of GTA VCS or even LCS working. I keep getting the V 9.99 message, can anyone help.. (Ok figured it out, i had 2 iso's and for some reason it messed up the boot)

I'm kinda confused on some of the tutorials here.
This is my PSP story: (skip reading this if you don't want to be bored)
I have a 2.71 TA-082 and successfully playing ISO/CSOs using HEN B devhook enabler for 2.71 + devhook .46
Now when GTAVCS came, I'm so excited playing it and dl'd the ISO. Transfered it to my ISO folder like I used to do with other games.
But with no luck I can't play it. Ir flashes back to 2.71 (with PSP-HACK's wallpaper). So I tried same game but from another torrent but to no avail.
I read this thread and I'm still confused

THIS IS MY PROBLEM:
I want to play GTAVCS on my TA-082 but I can't run it using HEN B Devhook enabler for 2.71 (I didn't upgraded to HEN C coz I run HEN B successfully). Will your procedure can run GTAVCS on TA-082. Please I need a CLEAR step-by-step procedure to run this game. Your reply will be much appreciated. THANK YOU GUYS. I hope someone will help. Share your luck guys!
