I've tried to play two games, GTA LCS (which doesn't work), and SOCOM FTB 2(requires 2.81) FW....sooo I'm going to try to play Syphon Filter...the only question I have is that since it's a cso file, do you havve to change any settings?

SCRATCH THAT LAST POST, I GOT SYPHON FILTER WORKING!!!!! I DISCOVERED THAT THE GAME HAS TO BE COMPATIBLE WITh FW 2.71 OR LOWER AND IF THE GAME CANNOT BE READ MESSAGE POPS UP, THAT MEANS THE ISO IS BAD....THNX EVERYONE...Kealvalro your guide was perfect, its just that i was using noncompatible ISOs...thnx

ok so ive tried playing capcom collection classics reloaded and killzone liberation, and they both get a strange error when i try to play the game, it is an error with a bunch of numbers , something like with digits starting with an 8. any ideas??? do i need to change settings??? or is it just a problem with the cso/iso?

ok so i read back through the forum and i saw that alls you gotta do is disable the henc(2.71) feature, and killzone works properly. now the problem with capcom classics reloaded, i do not understand. it opens the game properly and when u go to select an arcade game it starts to load it, and then it resets the psp and gives the infamous error ..... =( any suggestions?

@necro if u want to play killzone,when u go to devhook menu u have to disable henc.just go to devhook then in the drop down menu choose ADD-ON MENU then HEN(2.71 only).disable this then u can play killzone but the bad part is that u cannot run homebrews and devhook.but u can just fully reset ur psp and go to devhook and enable henc again.
oh and if u want to play 2.80 or above games go to devhook and change the UMD SFO VERSION to 2.XX to 2.00 in the MORE OPTIONS MENU.
gta vcs,acecombat x,marvel alliance,snoopy,capcom reload all these games works.
@touran22 yes u can enable henc on startup but u have to use darkalex devhook and 0okm henc that enebles as wallpaper then it will just eneble henc on startup.but they say that u cannot change the background coz it is henc itself.i feel it is very dangerous to do it.fonts is dangerous to change coz it flashes but i only change my fonts in 1.50fw,gameboots are splendid i use to change from time to time just get it in this forum.but be careful the gameboot should smaller then 1.3mb.
@jay2491 i think the games u download before could be currupted coz ur syhfon filter works rite.socom ftb u have to change the UMD SFO VERSION to 2.XX to 2.00 in devhook menu to play it.

sorry guys for double post but the chunglam's devhook has been updated to 1.65c3,you can find it in pspupdates.qj.com.when u got the file open it and then u will see ms_root.now open that folder and drag all the files inside and paste it into your memorystick root.overwrite all and ur done.continue using chunglams version for more updates.chunglam rocks

@kealvalro, thanks for the help with killzone, works like a charm =D! but now problems with capcom reloaded
all along i had the setting "UMD SFO VERSION > 2.xx to 2.00" and it wasnt working, i made sure that this was the setting when i read your post, but then i went back and tried UMD SFO VERSION > no change" and then it started working, but it only worked for a couple arcade games (in CAPCOM RELOADED). so then i changed the setting back to "UMD SFO VERSION > 2.xx to 2.00" and now none of the arcade games work at all.
has anyone tried and succesfully played all the minigames(arcades games) on capcom reloaded????? please let me know!
maybe i have a bad iso?

i have a question. i have installed everything and it gets up to the point where i am supposed to select my game file so i could play it,but, when i try to select it, it wont work. i see the image of the game but i dont know how to select it.

Once again I cant thank you enough kealvalro..I've gotten GTA VCS, GTA LCS, Burnout Legends, Sphon Filter, THUG 2 Remix, Street Fighter working (for some reason they work when i convert them to cso) but thx a lot for everything

This does not work for me, when i go to devhook, and open up UMD SELECT, there is no XMB screen loader thing. I tried it without it, so i went over to USB connection, did the home for 3 sec went down to USB connection, did all that crap, but there was no "new hardrive detected" thing on computer.

hi how u convert ur st fighter to cso , cos mine when i extracted out is in 3 folder. and cant play

@lord if u want to make ur own gameboot it is hard,ask hexitnow maybe he knows.it is dangerous to make your own coz the size of a gameboot must be 1.3mb or less not more then that.

i have tried different iso's. i hit home, hit the analog stick to the left twice and to the right once, and then i see the picture of the game, but the problem i am having is selecting the game from that screen so it starts. on my computer, it says device connected so it should be selecting the game.

aresh if u are playing through memorystick then just press HOME then u will see the iso.now use L or R or analogstick up or down then choose your game.
but if u are playing through usb HOLD HOME then go to USB MODE then choose USBHOSTFS then move the analogstick right.last press HOME then use L or R or analogstick UP or DOWN to choose your game.

Hey Thanks a lot for the guide.
I have one question though:
When I want to play ISOs I use Devhook and select 2.71 firmware. After playing I can exit back to Devhook by selecting the Devhook icon in 'Games'. But when I want to run homebrews (for example emulators) I use Devhook and select 1.5 firmware. Now in 1.5 I cannot exit back to Devhook. I have to hard reset the PSP, run HenC and then run Devhook to get back to Devhook. Is that the only way ? Or there's a better way to exit 1.5 firmware and go back to Devhook ?
