Just upgraded my PSP to 2.71 and used easy installer. However, I didn't see HEN after reboot. I checked the HEN folder, there are wallpapers. Is there anyway I can load HEND? THANKS!

When you open Photo, there will be a HEND folder. Inside that folder, open the image called HEND. Opening that image is loading HEN.

I have a ta-082 stock 2.6
If I follow the tutorial kealvalro made will I be at 1.5 with all of the capabilites and homebrew compatibility of a 1.5 fw psp? Currently I use gta boot method but so much homebrew is for 1.5

Yea man, using devhook to emulate 1.5 gives you all the features. :D
Ta-082 2.6 > 2.71 > 2.5 > 2.6 > 2.8 > Brick > 2.6
> 2.71 > 1.5 > 3.52 M33 > 3.71 M33 > 3.80 M33 > 3.90 M33-3 > 4.01 M33-2

But to play isos I have to use the usb? I can't load from mem stick?

No you don't need to load from USB. Loading from USB is only if you don't have a large memory stick or if you want to be able to load a whole bunch of games stored on your hard drive.

After I entered the HEND folder for the first time, the PSP froze. Then I restarted the PSP and entered HEND folder again, it showed the blue screen and rebooted itself. Now the PSP froze everytime I enter HEND folder and it will shut down after several seconds. Any solution to this problem? Thanks!

kealvalro I did you new easy installer with HEND and I did not work, so luckily I got he older version with HENC and Im reisntalling in this moment, and its working OK, just to let you know the problems HEND boot only once, I was trying to run a iso of syphon filter , so I tried to switch to fm 1.5 but the system freeze, so I tried at least 20 times to boot again HEND and never did, ..any comments ???

elperuano, you can try to delete the wallpapers under HEND and try again. I had the same situation as you but it's been fixed if I deleted all the wallpapers.

OK I have a ta-082 and everything works ifne I can play games and what not. Now I was wondering can I play any of these games online, if so how? I get connection errors from devhook.

have any one tried the new yugioh duel monsters gx tag force with this?? i tried changing the settings to 2.XX - 2.00 and also tried disabling hen on the devhook menu
no luck yet
the iso mounts but it wont load to the game just... flashing of ms and black screen

oh isee,try this boot devhook then change the "UMD SFO VERSION" to 2.XX to 2.00 then emulate to 2.71,choose your iso then boot it i think it should work now

BAD rip man mine works fine,it works on any devhook(chunglams or chaos zero.

Hey I have a question...
I dont know if that has been answered yet but I updated to 2.71 and extracted the new easy installer into my memory stick (2 gb). The problem is whenever I went to the HEND file the first time i got the blue screen but then my psp just shut off. When I started it back up i went back to the HEND file and now it freezes up every single time and shuts off. Also if i launch Devhook it says my game cannot be played (although I do not have any isos in my memory stick yet because i dont know where to put them in my memory stick).

Got it! Now it is working. Thank you so much. I am playing need for speed and football manager now, I also compressed iso files to cso files, saved me a lot of disk space. I just printed out your instructions in case I forgot how to do it again (for my friends).

@emac2323 1st Hard Reset your PSP, then run the HEND after it shows the grey icon. When you run HEND and it succed it will turn your screen to BLUE and it will automatic reset after a few secs. after that you can RUN the DEVHOOK now. if you RUN HEND and it HANGS, just HARD RESET your PSP and try again.

Dear Kealvaro, i have an pes 6 iso right here. everything on your tutorial works but now this game just wont work.. he says the game couldnt get started code: 8002012D.. what is the problem? ive loaded loads of games like the new sonic and vice city.. i hope you can helpme . Can i emulate 1.5 and then use the latest devhook? greets Mirid
PS. iv have the old installer of HENC and the 2.71 emulation.
To play games that needs 2.8 or 2.81 firmware,just change the SFO version in devhook to "2.xx to 2.00"
Games like killzone,you have to disable HENC to play it,just go to the devhook menu and disable HENC
HOW can you disable HENC? i dont see that function in devhook? is that an new devhook? Tony Hawk worked fine for me. but PES 6 didnt..And how do you open the new easy installer??? 7z document? WinRAR isnt working for me. and ive got the old easy installer and can i overwrite everything without someting goin wrong?
