Hey keal ive been reading your thread for a while now it seems like others are complaining about the crashes when exiting devhook here's a possible fix,can you post it in the first page so that others will see it.Crashing occurs when you exit devhook cause devhook loos in the psp/game/devhook/eboot.pbp and if you dont have this you are prone to crashing.Credits goes to mrdude
2.71- HEN-D
Rename DH51_271 to DEVHOOK in PSP/GAME(if you dont have the eboot put it there)

i've chanched my devhook to 3.02 because of the crashes in 3.01, but now my Wifi doesn't work.
what should u do?

For WIFI on DEVHOOK set the CPU SPEED to 222/111.
@keal hey bro i just wanna ask if thers a FIX for this DEVHOOK emulating 3.02 coz it HANGS sometimes when exiting the game.

hey all first post and i need a bit of help.
i have a 2.71 TA-082
tried to do the manual install for 3.02 emulation and it froze at the Hen-D loading stage everytime.
so i used the devhook K installer, however after i flashed the files for 3.02 and pressed start, i had a blue screen with a lot of words in german on it, did i half brick my psp or something? after i had it the first time i immediately hard resetted and tried again but same thing happened
now it cant load my devhook 0.4x for 2.71 emulator in my other memory stick, but it can still play music and UMDs and stuff. however i cant run my isos in my other memory stick anymore.
anyone could help?

i was following the guide to emulate 3.02 on my psp 2.71 and i managed to reach this step.
2.open "DEVHOOK 0.51.0100 + Multi language" with WinRAR,there will be a folder name "DEVHOOK 0.51.0100 + Multi language".now open that folder.over here u will see a 4 folders "DH","FBM","PSP" AND "SRC" rite,Moved all that 4 folders to your memorystick main.overwrite if it asks
however.. i could not continue as the link for the "DEVHOOK 0.51.0100 + Multi language" is down. So i dl ZAiO_HEND-DH0510100 instead. But i can only find "DH","FBM","PSP" where to find "SRC"?
any help here would be nice.

yes i have emulated it to 3.01 and latest devhook and i can play smackdown vs raw 2007....ya sometimes while exiting the game it hangs and then back to 2.71...so again have to run hend etc etc...

Hi there and thanks to kealvalro and other guys helping us.
I've got something I'm not able to solve and I need help.
On a TA-082 2.71 I installed HenD and the first Devhook 0.51 to emulate FMW 3.01 from forum.qj.net and all worked fine.
When I saw it on this forum I tried to install the "K" easy installer version 3.
I was able to go at a point where I was said that flash1 can hold only 1 FMW directory. I unstalled 301 with Devhook 0.51 and tried again the stuff.
At that point I was able to go till 3.02 running but I had to define my language, etc etc.
After a cold restart to go back to the resident 2.71, I could see that the theme color had change and I was surprised.
Running HenD, then Devhook 0.51 I was unable to go to 3.02 again. Like if the Flash1 has been lost or corrupted.
I decided to restart all the stuff from the beginning : MS format, extract, Psardump etc . I went to 1.50, then again to 3.02 with the same behavior.
Now I'm stuck at this point and I'm unable to get things working, like if my first installation with 3.01 broke something, or is not well supported with current install stuff.
Any idea about what to do ? At which point should I change something in the install process ?

This also happends to me , you must not reset your psp just press the o button and wait for around 1 minute the psp will automaticly boot-up to the default state that u need to re-configure your system setting after done you are ready to use your 3.02, but after you hard reset your psp to the original 2.71 you will also get this blue screen just follow the steps above and everything should work fine, this wont happend again if you want to emulate 3.02 and back to the original 2.71.Hope this help.

Justed wanted to say thanks for the guide and to the devs that put all this awesome software together. I used the Devhook "K" installer on my ta-082 and it works (playing my copy of SOCOM online now).
I did have some trouble with it the first time through. I got the blue screen with error messages after I flashed to "flash1". It ended up resetting my psp to factory defaults after I got out of that screen. Second time through, all I did was reflash into "flash1" (w/o unstalling anything from "flash1") and devhook booted up 3.02 just fine.
It is a little buggy for me though. Sometimes it takes me 2 or 3 times before 3.02 will load. Sometimes my psp screen just turns black and the system freezes. Seems like there are two bursts of data being written in the memory stick and if the second burst doesn't happen, my psp will freeze with the black DOS screen. Hopefully this doesn't lead into anything serious later on.
Can't complain though since it does what it says it's suppose to do (most of the time heheh). I've only had my PSP for a few weeks and it's probably the best system I've ever bought =)

@zanjue : I mean U are right. If I enforce Flash install again, Devhook writes files in Flash1.
Now I can run ISO with 3.02 with Devhook options like this :
UMD Select : emulation + 1 iso file
Firmware : 3.02
Cpu Clock : 222
...
UMD SFO options : default !! not 2.xx to 2.00 !!
But I have to say that moving from 3.02 emulation to 1.50 (or the other way) is still painful with a lot of freezes. I often have to remove the battery to get a known state, and even with this, Hen-D launch looks odd, with unexpected freezes or shutdowns.
Is there a _good_ method to get Hen-D running at all starts ?

So, I've got a 2.71 TA-082 PSP. Should I downgrade to 2.50, then use the SOFTDOWN creator for TA082 to get to 1.50? What do you recommend?

hey fellas,
ive got a TA-082 and its awsome. I recently got 1.5 psp and i have a pretty important question. can i put kealvalros easy installer on it minus the HEND into it? or is that installer only for TA-082 psps?
anyone know of what the best thing to do to my 1.5? ie custom firmwares or whatever? i dont really know much about custom firwares or anything about original 1.5 psps. thanks guys

hangs is an understatment. DEVHOOK emulating 3.02 either freezes or crashes when it exits a game its kind of irritating but for now its all we got. i guess we'll just have to wait untill dark_alex, kealvaros, or chunglam comes out with a update or somthing that will help with that. oh yeah and the "hend" boot fix for the .tiff file

mate this is only a software mod, if you want it back to original just remove or format the memory card and you should have a standard psp again.....pls if im wrong someone correct me....
and also why would you want to upgrade it...

anyway.. i cont the steps to part F)booting the first time.
umd select:umd disc(can change in devhook,so no need to worry)
firmware: 3.02(ms or flash+ms)
clock cpu:266/133mhz
boot mode:XMB MENU
then click on "start devhook",and wait
here's the problem, everytime i click start it will enter a dos mode, then the screen will go black. the power light will be on for like 10 sec b4 going off.
am i doing any step wrong? i've tried re-flashing the file, but the problem is still there.
any help will be much appreciated =)

wait, is it just me or is something wrong? after i flashed the configfile, it wont let me start Chunglams mod or emulate any other firmware... only .51 will work..
