Thanks for replying, I was just on the verge of trying that... So if I want to strictly play ISO backups on my 1.8 GB Memory Stick, without having to insert any UMDs, or just choose one which is best suited for me? Could anyone please tell me which installer is most appropriate for me? I'm not well acquainted with all these different devhook versions. I don't want to take up too much space on my memory stick, my tekken 5:DR backup is 1.7 GB in size...

Yeeeees, it´s working for me loud and clear, atleast 1.5 fw games. Me so happy and I belive my son will be even more happy on christmas.
Sadly i had do brick one, before i found my way here(nothing to do with easy installer). I was too eager to downgrade it and the rest is history. No worries, I went back to the store and told that I couldn´t turn my Psp on and they gave me a new one : )
Thank U Dark ALex, kealvalro and the rest of u ppl for helping us noobs and christmas greetings from Finland to u all.

just read somewhere the sony just released FW 3.03...hopefully another emulation will be in the works for this one....for those of you having problems starting hend, try to hard reboot then don't do anything just go to photos, and wait for about 5 secs. and run HEND...it won't hang...atleast, that's how i do it in my psp...hope this helps.
Proud owner of a Sony PSP TA-082 motherboard running on 2.71 FW HEN-D and Devhook .046 and Devhook 0.51 for 2.71 now emulating 3.02 FIRMWARE.

I heard it also helps to have a custom wallpaper in use in the background. I got that and I always do a hard reset before using HenD. I usually get HenD running 9/10 times.

Hey all, ive searched for ages around all the threads but i cnt find a straight answer to the question, so if anyone could please clarify i'd be grateful.
I'm currently running FW2.71 with HEND and Devhook 0.51, so im able to emulate up to FW3.02 and ive got a few ISO's working fine :D
But I only have a 1Gb MemoryStick at the moment, and I have 4 or 5 ISO's that I've compressed to CSO but still don't fit. They all require FW2.81 to play.
So my question is, can I run ISO's via USB from my pc WHILE EMULATING FIRMWARE 2.81 AND HIGHER?
If so, please teach me how!!

Guys- ur Godlike. Everything is doin well.
I followed the instructions (k installer) and i did the correct settings.
But i have a single last question. Where do i have toput the iso's ? Directly into the iso folder on my memory stick?
This is one of the last thing i ave to check to believe that my psp is able to do that
Thx for replies

OK. in the easy installer K guide, it tells users to flash install FW 3.02.
Quote: 14.Go to "FLASH INSTALL".now read and do this carefully,in here Choose "install configfile to flash1:.after that u again will be in a dos mode lookalike.now over here press and hold the "O" button for 1secs and u will see it saving files
I did that, and now I can't set wallpapers. THey just won't stay! So anyway, I tried to fix this, I formatted Mem stick and installed easy installer V3. Those wallpapers still won't stay. Even with V3 installer. I have even tried "Factory Defaults" in the psp menu.
Does 'flash install' in devhook do something to your psp internally? Does it screw around with the flash banks of your psp? Because i think that is why I cant set wallpapers anymore. Before flashing 3.02 it worked fine.
Is there anyway other way than "Factory Defaults" to reset my psp? And how can I undo the changes made by flashing 3.01 and 3.02?
Or can anyone tell me how to fix my wallpaper problem?
Do I have to downgrade to fix this?
Thank you.

Just a quick question, what is the size of Metal Gear Solid Portable Opps? Depending on it's size, I might be able to put it on my memory stick if I move some things.
My PSP Firmware History: 2.60 had to return the PSP because it had a dead pixel > new PSP had firmware 2.71 > 1.5 > 3.52 M33 > 3.52 M33-4 > 3.71 M33 > 3.71 M33 with 1.50 kernel
