just downloaded a whole load of genesis roms

they are inside .7z rar files

inside there a various bin files

will that be suitable?

for example pit fighter's 7z file contains the following

Pit Fighter (W) [!].bin
Pit Fighter (Beta) [h1C].bin
Pit Fighter (Beta) [T+Por_Felipe-17].bin
Pit Fighter (Beta).bin

which would i use?

i have a small problem with snes station.

most of the roms seem to run fine on my ps2 while some go unusually slow/laggy and the sound is not identical to that of the original and it tends to skip alot (the sound). this is mostly experienced in MK II. i burnt the dvd at 4x. when i use the same rom on my pc (with zSnes) it runs perfectly. any suggestions or help as to how i can fix this?

thanks!

Some of the Roms will lag or have the sound choppy ...they arent perfect ...

however if the lag bothers you more than the sound you can turn the sound off which will make the game lag less

shizznit you should be able to use any of the .bin files that you have there ..they might just all be differnt versions of the game ..some look like beta revisions I would throw them all in ...since they wont take too much space

I have also problems with broken? roms. I loaded about 100+ roms from the site on the top if you search for snes roms in google. 99% of them the snes station continues playing music and the screen is black. I burned some cds now with different versions of snes station but always the same. Can someone tell me where I can get good roms? Or a package in emule? I read about that this ist because of bad roms. Don´t know if this is the matter. Some Ideas? It would be so great to play snes games on ps2.

The Action Replay Max EVO PGEN emulator is really good. The thing is you have to download the autoexec.elf file from the codejunkies website. After that, you can put the zipped roms and the NEW autoexec.elf on the pendrive.

This PGEN works really well AND you don't need to swap discs.

OK, with a v12 slim PSTwo (SCPH-70012) how would either Snes station or pGen work? Many people like Mr. Noob here are STUCK with a new PSTwo slim. I hate it that $ony locked out the Independence Exploit & just about every MC exploit out there. Thank the gods SwapMagic v3.3+ and Breaker Pro still work...

Trying to run snes station with Action Replay Max:

I've gotten snes station to run from the flash drive; but it seems to only detect directories from the Action Replay disc. It doesn't even detect directories from ps2 discs. My idea was to make a copy of the Action Replay disc, but with a roms directory in it; but I keep getting error messages when I try to copy it. Has anybody successfully made an iso of the Action Replay disc?

@bjtdevera, which ver of PlayStation2 do you have? The Action Replay MAX works with older versions; a burnable version of AR Max EVO for use with SwapMagic was released some time ago. I have it :) It will work with the slimlines but not the older Fat ps2.

I've tried everything in order to get get PGEN working with my Action Replay using CDR's - but thinking about it my PS2 doesn't play CD all that well - so now I'm thinking for this pendrive ?

Is this just a standard USB Memory Stick ? Any when copying files it's just the standard way ? I tried it - and it didn't work - perhaps I did something wrong ? I used that Max Media Creator thing which comes with the Action Replay....

Yeah - I got my Genesis Roms to work on my PS2 using the memeory stick at last - I think it just wasn't detecting the USB device correctly...

With regard to the above question - are there any SNES emulators that are Pendrive compatible i.e. can run from the Pendrive as well as access the Pendrive for the Roms ?

By downloading the autoexec.nt from the EVO site, my PGEN works.
My question is PS2MAME. I put the stuff on the pendrive in the right places, but it just freezes after displaying the "Ps2newz" website logo.
I'd really like a step-by-step guide for THAT!
