Butterfly Effect 2 - Problems using AnyDVD with DVDShrink

I originally tried this with AnyDVD (6.0.8.0) and DVD Shrink. Kept getting artifacts. Tried DVDFab, same result. Same result with DVD Decrypter and AnyDVD. Even had the problem just opening it on my PC with AnyDVD up just to watch it. Finally, closed AnyDVD down and just used DVDShrink. Perfect with no problem. Apparently, as long as I don't have AnyDVD open, I can watch it or archive it. But with AnyDVD running, just artifacts as if it is still encrypted. First time I have run into a problem like this with AnyDVD. Hope this saves someone the anguish of trying more extensive methods. I guess sometimes the simple solution is the best.

Some peeps have trouble when AnyDVD is running,and there's no need for it. That's why I keep mine disabled,until the time arrises. Then when I do run into something DVD Shrink can't handle-usually crc or illegal navigation error-then I enable AnyDVD. This also lets me know which titles shrink can and can't handle by its lonesome.

I got the same for Butterfly effect 2. Simple DVD Shrink and Nero did the job.

saugmon- So Small Green & wise - either Yoda or Kermit LOL! will have to remember that when I get Butterfly effect 2 - Is it worth getting oh Wise Green & stunted one ?
