Yeah copy all of the files in MS_ROOT to the root of your memory stick, and click on Yes if it asks you to replace.

i did all that it said to do. it did not work. do i need to have my old 2,71 devhook on this card with it or is there a easyer way to do this?

I'd get rid of the old devhook files... back up whatever is important but I'd do a fresh install.
I've got a quick question. I finally got everything working and it's all good. If I were to copy the files to another memstick... say I archived my memstick to my desktop into devhook_setup.rar, and then unrar'ed that to a new, fresh formatted memstick, all of the settings I've had would be in place and good to go, correct? I wouldnt want to have to reinstall dh every time I got a new memstick... I have 2 and want to get a 3rd with 4 gigs soon.

Yay!
I could not figure out how to install devhook, and for some reason, every other description expects you to know exactly how to work with the files inside the PSP, and that you already have all the other necessary apps installed properly. With your walkthrough I finally got DevHook running on my PSP after transferring the files via my mac. It is surprisingly easy when it is explained properly... Thank you! I am now able to play ME & My Katamari on my version 1.5 PSP, no update required.
YAY!

hey et3rnalis, sorry for not responding; it was a bad dl after all. the iso file was only 800mb. I found another one at almost 1.4gb and that one works perfect. Thanks for all the help.

BTW there r many additional stuff like camera/remote play/visuals for music/....features!

Y when i go to the site megaupload for the button swap, it calls me
to download the mega upload toolbar.Should i download it then i can enter the site?

The button swapped fine my (X is now Enter/O is now Back)

Will it work on this emulated fw?

top work hex .51 works top with 3.02 , just 1 question that is were do i put my game isos as with dvhook .46 they had a folder saying place isos here,im prob being thick but please help

eternalis...your guide works perfect...but when im in 3.02 my x and o button are swaped..is there a way to fix this..i know there is in 3.01 but does that method work for 3.02?

Yeah the 3.01 method that hexitnow posted works perfectly for 3.02 as well. This is because when you update firmware 3.01 to 3.02 your registry is not modified.

Make an ISO folder in the root of your memory stick and put your ISOs there. Its the exact same location as you put them for DevHook 0.46.

Yeah that happens when too many people in your country are downloading from the same server. Just download it. I dont think its spyware and its quite useful as it comes with an integrated uploader.

i downlaoded hexitnow files and put them in the 3.02 and 3.01 place and replaced them both...but the bottons didnt change?
nevermind i forgot to flash them..works fine now...sorry about a waste of thread space..

i put a file ISO in root of mem downloaded smackdown v raw 2007 iso put it in folder selected it and started dvhook,the title page comes up with svr pic but imposed over the top is devhookmenu
umd image....emulation
cpu clock....222/111
umd sfo version....default
menu on boot....on
preload addr....89200000
firm ware....not surported
remote port....not surported
is this right because if i try to run game it just loads 4 about 4 secs then screeen turns black and shuts down psp

ive got devhook up and running 3.02 everythings cool except my devhook will only load moh:heroes!!?? i downloaded ace combat x:SOD
and it wont work it will show up in the game column i click on it and then it wont play it just stays on a blank screen for a very long time and i have to start up my psp again ACX:SOD is 780 mb csoed can u help and ive got the new mgs po thats 516 csoed and wen i put that on my psp it says the disc could not be read?? help me this devehook is driving me crazy it cant be the games could it??

i can play all the old games starwars lethal alliance ,colin mcrae,and so on but moh heros loads but wont player after you create a profile its the same for brothers in arms is any 1 else having the same prob on devhook 0.51

guys I'm emulating 2.71 running devhook 0.46
do you recommend upgrading to 3.02 and devhook 0.51???
my games are running fine at the moment (VCS, Pro Evo 6) so not sure if its worth the effort?

not unless you have brand new games. alot of older gams do not work with devhook.51
