Me and kealvalro have teamed up and decided to make a FAQ thread.
Just post your questions and me or kealvalro or hopefully any other user will answer the question.
here is FAQ article one, http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/431172#2608185 , also posted on page 3 of this thread.
Current People who are official helpers on this thread are:
hackaday ----- On from 4:00 to 9:00 California time.
kealvalro ----- On at 8:00 hong kong time.
Frankie27 ---- On from --- to ---
eternalis ---- On from --- to ---
sudds
we hope to get more knowledgable people on this team and 2 people we are especially looking forward to helping us are pspjunior and touran22
We would appreciate it that before you posted a question you could check other posts for the question because most likely, it has been asked before. Also, when you post a question, it would be helpful if you wrote QUESTION in red. Then we can sort questions from answers faster.
Typical Questions we answer:
1. PSP hack questions for firmware 1.0 to 3.01.
2. PSP tutorials. Me and kealvalro (especially kealvarlo) have many tutorials on how to do something so just ask a tutorial question and we can hook you up with a full tutorial.
3. Downloads. we know the best download sites and kealvarlo has some of his own also.
4. Any other PSP questions you can think of. We will take all very important questions and add them to the main post (this one) so that people can just skim through this one post rather than the entire thread.
Please leave at least a day for us to respond because we are busy and some questions may have to be debated between our team.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP AND I HOPE YOU POST QUESTIONS TO KEEP THIS THREAD RUNNING.
-Kealvalro and Hackaday, Frankie, and Eternalis
** NOTE ** In order to become an official member of this team, please PM me saying you want to be a member and what times you are mostly on. I will then look at your posts and decide if you are right for the job.

Since no one is going to answer my question on the other thread, I'll ask here. Do you really need to flash the configfile for 3.01 since 3.01 wont load.
Edit: NVM, someone FINALLY answered my question

load a homebrew game, go to the menu, then select cwcheat. A list of cheats should come up. There may be more than it to this.

isohunt.com
torrentspy.com
place emulators in PSP/GAME
put the files NesterJ and NesterJ% in PSP/GAME
these might not be the exact file names but you should be able to figure it out.

You can downgrade to 1.5 to play ISOs or you can upgrade to firmware 2.71 and play ISOs on that firmware as well.
You can find a guide on downgrading your fw 2.00 PSP here:
http://www.psp-hacks.com/psp-downgrade.php
I recommend downgrading to firmware 1.5 as all homebrew is supported on that firmware.
Like I said in the other thread, if you want to play the latest games with nothing ripped (i.e movies etc) then buy atleast a 2GB memory stick.
Quote: when i upload the new fw, do i upload to my memory stick?
BTW its called upgrading. To upgrade your firmware put the update EBOOT.PBP in ms0:/PSP/UPDATE (make sure the UPDATE folder is in all caps). Also do not upgrade to any firmware past 2.71 or you wont be able to play ISOs! You can find the 2.71 updates here: http://www.psp-hacks.com/category/47

Yes you must have a memory stick to downgrade.
Any memory stick will do, even a 32MB one works.
Or you could borrow someones as you don't need it after the downgrade.
