ok i have a few Q's, 2 hacaday kealvarlo, anyone,
ok check i tried to get as much info I could get as possible but everybody asks mostly the same crap, and i must attach the pieces 2gether, but i'd like to get a solid answer for all my q's instead of me going 2 act like a wise ass, and then fuck it up, sooo, my Q with my worries would be this; aiight check i have a psp with the code ic6001 thus not the ta-082, but it has factory installed 2.60 version, now my Q is is there a way 2 go back thus downgrade to 1.5 if so how?, or what would you recommend the smartest option would be, i just wanna play isos on the damn psp, without bricking the damn thing, thanx for your help in advance, oh and if possible that it doesn't lose it's features that you can do later on with the ps3 :)

Yo,
IC6001 is good to downgrade, but first i think its best to upgrade to fw2.71 and then use the full2.71 downgrader ( you can find it at psp-hacks.com) and then just downgrade..u'll have fw1.5 in no time.

Hi,
I have a router and wireless internet at my house. Also, there is a WEP security and I have the password and I have typed that in. My problem is when i set the rest of the settings to automatic, the psp cannot find the ip adress and the internet connection fails because of this. What do I do?

Does anyone have a list or have any knowledge of what psx games are playable at the moment? I have tried games that i own using Nero and they did not start on my psp (the playstation warning thing came up and then the screen went black until i exited out to home), but when i used the Hot Shots 2 torrent it worked.

Using PopStation with PAL games do not work, Sony themselves are having trouble with PAL games.
Just download them mate.

Well since my threads never seem to get answered (*sigh*), here's a quick question I've been itching to find out since I got my 1.5 PSP:
If I browse the internet using the web browser under devhook 0.51 emulating FW 3.01, will it automatically update my PSP's FW to the latest version?
I'm certain it doesn't, but I've never been online yet because you never know until you try it or ask.
Cheers in advance to anyone who can give me advice.

thanx maynsss, I really appreciate it a lot, cuz last time i had 2 go to a friend 2 do it, and it has cost me precious time, only one more Q, i might be getting a little annoyng, but the thing is, i would like 2 do my shit my self, sooo, one more thing where, and how do i install the homebrew, and which one would you recommend at the moment, andddd i have right now a spare mem stick, if i install it on this one, and when i get the other one back, would ithave an effect

Hey,
I have a 2.71 psp and I am looking to use the internet for online play. I am trying to use the wireless router at my house. It has a WEP security setting and I know the password and have typed that in the box. But, when I set the rest of the settings to automatic, the IP address is not found and it times out. I dont know what the problem is. COuld somebody help me?

I have a question about how to change a psx into a psp game. When I downloaded a psx torrent,instead of getting the psp folder with the eboot.pbp and keys.bin file, I got an MDF file along with a MDS file. How do i change this into something I can use to put on my psp?

I used xflash to mod my psp but now wish to update to 3.03 to play all the latest games like Metal Gear:PO without all the hassle. i was using the devhook 1.50 to 2.71 trick to play my games. The problem is the PSP after using xflash to remove everything will not let me upgrade to the 3.03 firmware. it repeatedly says that the data is corrupt. it also will not let me use the 2.81 upgrade on metal gear either. Please help soon!! i just want to play my metal gear!

Also to note that i used the xflash programs restore feature on everything possible and than went to system default restore to try to update. PLEASE HELP! PSP is useless!

there seems to be confusion when trying to spot a TA-082
if you see BOTH IC-6001 and IC-1003 you have TA-082
most PSP's will have IC-6001 under the metallic UMD tray
Doom movie makes me laugh.
duke is playing that portable system..."man this games loaded"
looks like space invaders
if thats the future, i'm staying here with my PSP

Okay I have a TA-082 2.71 which I have successfully turned to a
3.02 OE-B I intalled DEVHOOK 0.51.0100+Multi Language. I tried this both before and after installing DEVHOOK I got my ISO's in the folder they show up fine on the XMB file list as well as on the Mem stick but in the home menu launch it give me "The game could not be started. (80020321)"
If i use devhook and try to start it with that I get
Can't extended prx handler
Load Error
Then back to HOME
What ever should I do?

Why are you using DevHook?
You have no need to use it, keep your ISO,s and CSO,s in the ISO folder, scroll to your GAME menu and load them from there, simple as.

Happy Holidays Hackaday & Kealvarlo..
I am a newbie with a question(s)
well im trying to get 3.02 OE-B on my psp..
my psp is new and i have 2.60 fw and its a NON ta-082 psp
and from wat i've been told i need to go from
2.60>2.71>1.50>3.02 OE-A>B
now my question if how i do this the right way?
i've been looking for guides and only been able to find guides for the TA-092 psp's and ones that require GTA:Libery Stories which i dont have. so how can i acomplish my goal the safest and fastest way?

US 2.71 EBOOT Create a folder called UPDATE in your GAME folder and place the EBOOT in it, scroll to GAME on XMB select UPDATE and run, make sure A/C is plugged in.
Easy 2.71 Downgrader follow its on screen instructions.
Download the 3.02 OE-A pack from my sig, and follow its readme, if you get stuck or are not sure, give us ashout. ;P
