Well...
Early today I got the update pop up saying you need to update your AnyDVD from 6.0.9.0 to 6.0.9.2...
So I installed it and now it gives me a Message stating...
WARNING!!
No DVD Drive Detected
Possible Reasons:
1. - You Don't have a DVD Drive, buy One (I Do have two That i have used forever)
2. - You haven't rebooted your system after Install..(I Did)
3. - Your External DVD Drive is not powered on or is not properly connected ( I dont use an External)
4. - There is a Problem installing the AnyDVD Driver. If this is the case try to:
Uninstall
Reboot
Install AnyDVD
Reboot.
I tried all those but still no luck...Anyone else have this problem and if so How do you FIX IT??
Please Help

For the first time I have a problem with AnyDVD. After installing 6.0.9.2 & rebooting, I always get this screen & no drives are being detected.

I don't want to imply anything, but this happens if you crack / modify AnyDVD.
If you did use a crack, you know what to do. If you didn't, tell me more about your system (drivers, setup, etc.)

Hey I am also having this problem.
First it will say to insert media...It is already there.
Or it will say cannot get exclusive access to drive.
Sometimes it will burn a disc after restart but only the first one.
I am sure they Slysoft will fix but can someone tell me how to reinstall the last version until the fix?

heres some that might help for that problem
upper and lower filters
Here's a useful free utility for anyone interested...devFilter from busTrace.com
http://www.bustrace.com/products/devfilter.htm
Introduction
busTRACE Technologies has developed a simple utility that allows you to view which filter drivers are specified for the Disk and CD/DVD devices on your computer. This applet shows you those filter drivers that are specified in your registry. They may, or may not, be actually running. That is dependent on the driver itself.
This is a useful diagnostic applet for those users who have a need to determine which Disk/CD/DVD filter drivers various 3rd party applications, or Microsoft itself, have installed on your system. You can download this utility for free.
What operating systems are supported?
The software only supports Windows 2000/XP/2003 and above. The software is also compatible with the x64 versions of Windows.
