Last question on AnyDVD

Greetings,

Sorry for taking up so much of yall's time. But hopefully last question.

I want to purchase AnyDVD as my decrypter, Can I use my Nero 7 as my burner program and AnyDVD as my decrypter, or do I need CloneDVD also?? If so, will CloneDVD have conflicts with Nero for all my other CD and DVD burning??

i have CloneDVD and Nero-7 on one of my systems..and meny more dvd burning software..no problems to report..

You can use AnyDVD with Nero.

To answer the question if you need CloneDVD2. It all depends on how you back up your DVD's. If you burn the DVDs to DL media then no you will not need CloneDVD2. If you transcode the DVDs to single layer media then you will need some sort of transcoding program.

You will not necessarily need CloneDVD2 to do this. You can use Nero Recode 2 if you have the Ultra edition of Nero 7. You will still of course need AnyDVD or some other Free ripping App to break the encryption with Nero Recode 2 or CloneDVD2.

So there are a few ways to go.

AnyDVD + Nero Recode 2
AnyDVD + CloneDVD2
Free ripping tools + Nero Recode 2

There are allot of other combinations out there as well. below is a nice link on different ways members back up their disc. There isn't really 1 correct way to do this. It really comes down to your preference and what programs you like.
