Hi my free 21 day trial is almost up for AnyDVD and clonedvd2 and I was wondering do I need to use DVD ShrinkDVD DecrypterAnyDVD and clonedvd2. I was having trouble when I first started learning how to burn and realized that some of the settings were wrong on DVD Decrypter but before that I downloaded the other two programs. How crictial are AnyDVD and clonedvd2 in burning, will dvdshrink and DVD Decrypter do it on their own, I've only got 2 days before the price goes up so I just wanted to know. Thanks for any advice. P.S. your advice on my other questions was terrific and much aprriciated.

i am the proud owner of most all of SLYSOFT'S
programs,including AnyDVD,CloneDvD2,CloneCD,
and DvDDecypter,DvDShrink also.
all those other free programs don't care for.
having AnyDVD running behind any of the above
they still all work. that's the main one.
i have several ways i go about it.
1.AnyDvD(always running in the background)DvDShrink
Re-Author,Movie Only,DvDDecypter(to burn)
3.if you have AnyDVD running in the background,
then use CloneDvD2 it's a 1 program setup,(shrink/burn)
4.DvDShrink/DvDDecypter still work well with AnyDVD running in the back ground,but CloneDvD2 will just
about do everything as 1 program as DvDShrink/DvDDecypter
are 2 programs...................
to me AnyDVD...CloneDvD2 is the best money you will spend
doing all of this...............
as well as for CloneCD, it will also make 1 to 1 backup's
of you backed up movie's..just recently figured that one
out cool.....................
I agree with Freedom 2 Any DVD was the best money I spent when I purchased it. The site constantly reminds you when it is a new update. I use Any DVD in the back ground with DVD Shrink and I haven't had any problems. I can't speak on the other products but I would recommend Any DVD.
Here are two very good alternative that I highly recommend you look at, they include a decrypter to defeat the latest copy protection and are full of useful features you're sure to like.
Hi, I am in the same boat as jackman3. I have learned a lot in the past few weeks. My free AnyDVD trial is almost up. But resently, I have been reading more and more about Nero Recode2(this after I have burned many DVDs so far) I am just looking for the best results, i.e. speed and video quality. So if I were to have AnyDVD running could I use Recode2 then burn with Nero? What is the best way to copy DVDs/
remember guys AnyDVD is the best ripper out there being it updates weekly DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter don't update anymore so they can't handle the newer movies by them selfs.
if you want freeware use "RipIt4me" great program that does all the newer movies here some guides and info to read over
