if u are on 1.5 emulating 3.03 firmware just simply hard reset ur psp format ur memory card and follow this guide and upgrade to 3.02OE-B
cos u can play psx on emulated 3.03
if i m not wrong sony's emulator for psx games only work for 3.01(Not emulated)

wow...it takes so long to make the psar file or w/e... it's finally extracting and packing 3.02 fimware... may b u shud note that it takes a long time :o

Can anyone here tell me what do i do after i have downloaded the psp upgrader 2.6 to 2.71 from psp hack. it is a EBOOT.PBP file. and yes i have a PCA...psp thingy with the numbers on the back. It would be great if someone pm'ed me about it and personally help me with it.

to updates from 2.6 to 2.71, put the 2.71 eboot in X:\PSP\GAME\UPDATE and run it from the game menu on the psp

Okay so I exchanged my PSP 2.8 to a 2.71 TA-082. I've been reading several tutorials so Im ready to downgrade to a 1.5. Where it says to run the installer and it will install everything on to the MS, is that the same as the letter drive that comes up in My Computer? Just install the files in that Drive letter?

Im new here , im looking for help with this OE-B...about this folder GAME150 ... Where am i suppose to put this folder ?,
i should put the folder OEB_UPDATE at PSP/GAME150 , but where this GAME150 came from ? I tried put OEB_UPDATE at the folder GAME but it didnt work , i relly dont know what to do , ive tried many combinatons but nothing ...

hi! i just used the exe installer of 302oe A, it installed just fine. the problem is it created a game, game271 folders rather than game150 and game271. when i'm running the update for 302oe B, a message prompts "the game could not be started. (80020148)". what seems to be the problem with it? what should i do? thanks

Im getting the same problem as crywolf. I got the game could not be started. (80020148). On the MS i have 2 corrupted files as well. I dont know if that is normal. under 3.02 oe-a firmware install there is 1 corrupted file, and one more under 3.02 oe-a update maker. Anyways since im getting the error game could not be started, i dont wanna do anything els until i know whats going on. Also im wondering when you update to 3.02 oe-a will it tell you thats the FW version you are running? or will it still say 1.50? Im not that great at this so plz be a little specific. Thx a lot for getting me this far. almost done!

Hey do I need my mem stick to do this because my computer isn't picking up my psp.

yes u need your MS.
To upgrade to 2.71 do the following...
create a folder called UPDATE (must be in capitals) in mso:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE
then simply place the 2.71 eboot in there.
Go to the game section on your psp and update!

Hi everyone! i just bought a new psp with FW 2.6 and it has a TA-082 motherboard. I've searched around but all i could find was a Downgrader for 2.71 with TA-082. Is there one for 2.6 with the same mobo? Or can i just use the 2.71-1.5 downgrader?
Any help would be appreciated. Happy New Year Everyone!

There is no 2.6 <---> 1.5 on 082

I would just like to add to the thread that I followed the directions on the original post and I SUCCESSFULLY DOWNGRADED my 2.71 TA-082 to 1.5, then upgraded to 3.02 OE-A, and finally updated to 3.02 OE-B. I'm now loading and playing PSX/PSP ISOs smoothly, and with ease. Thanks to everyone that helped me, especially EuroStylz.
If anyone's having problems following the directions because they don't quite follow everything, feel free to send me a private message and I can try to help you out.

i had the same problem. Rename both eboots to exactly this!!!
150.PBP
302.PBP
Mine diudn work beacuse i had one called 150.PBP and the other was 302 without .PBP
Also some times ppl name it to 150.PBP and 320.PBP <--- Wrong its 302.PBP!!

i tried that and it didnt work so i used the 1.50 easy installer and that stopped at 37% everytime so i installed the files to a folder and copied them to the root of my memory stick and now i have 3.02 oea then i reformated the stick and i ant to upgrade to oeb but there is no game150 folder what to do? and isos arent working either do i have to use devhook or should i be able to load them of my game memory stick folder
