hi, got dark_alex's 2.71 ta-082 downgrader. A question though, in the /PSP/GAME/UPDATE folder is a eboot.pbp with a 63kb, and i was able to download a 1.5 eboot with a file size of 13.2mb. which one should i use??

You rename the 1.5 eboot to UPDATE.PBP and put it in the same folder as the eboot.

You should really read the readme. it tells you step by step what you need to do. Once you read it, read it again.

Ey, guys thank. i was able to downgrade it to 1.5 f/w now my next problem is what emulator im gonna need to run the iso and eboot.pbp games... any suggestions???

I guess I'm the only unfortunate to get a briked PSP after using this guide.

One thing, I read that after pressing X the PSP restarts and in some cases you should get a black screen, some says if you get the black screen you just briked the PSP; and some other says you only press the Black Light button and that's it and everything should be fine. To tell the truth, I do not remember if I pressed the Black Light button after doing the downgrade. As this PSP was brand new I just returned it as difective and got a new one back.

Dunno if I'll try to downgrade again :-(

umm please help! im new and im stuck on a the hend part. i'll try to access it with slideshow and nothing happens cept it shows the jpg picture of that fuzzy stuff. am i doing something wrong? i installed it through the .exe file please help
