I ran into all the same problems. So I decrypted just the main movie files with DVD Decrypter (with any dvd 6.1.0.7 running) then i used DVD2One to compress it. i changed the compression to high. then i used Nero to burn it. now i have a copy of just the movie. but that's better than nothing.

Download and unpack FixVTS if it's in a zip file. Copy and Paste the exe file into the Programs folder for RipIt4Me. That way the FixVTS is where the installer put it. Otherwise you have to go into settings and redirect to the path where you put the newer FixVTS.

I don't know if this will help anybody but I'm putting it out there. First I used DVDFab , then AnyDVD Ripper, DVD Shrink and finally DVD Decrypter to burn. So far so good.

I did full disc well menu, movie and deleted scenes only w/ 6.1.0.7 & CloneDVD - no go - ripped but won't play.
Switched to another pc w/ 6.1.1.1 & CloneDVD - left again menu, movie, deleted scenes and the 2 lion's gated clips -
That one works great. No looping - play the 10 sec liongate clip goes to menu hit play 10 sec lions gate logo and the movie begins. Fipped thru it all ok.
I can put it back in and let you which title #'s I left.
Now running it thru RipIt4Me - a few patching errors but hit the shrink and it running now.
One drive so far won't even read this dvd - showtime and wmp just lock up.

hi binkie, thanks so much getting back to me, except I will never understand most of the info on this thread, its way over my head, I also dont have things like ripit4me or whatever, I just have and use clone and AnyDVD, always get rid of the crap and keep the movie than just click go, this is as far as my brain will take me, I'm proud of myself even getting this far, some people on AD might still remember what that feels like being computer stupid.
But regardless, thanks again so much for your reply classy lady lol, right now I'm hoping AnyDVD or clone whichever fixes this problem soon, they have batted a 1000 with me so far this is the first time I ran into a strike.

FINALLY COPIED SAW 3 !!! Here's how. I used Ripit4me, version 1.640 in wizard mode. Checked movie only. Run until the end when it asks if you want to run FixVTS. DON'T! Keep the dvd in the drive! Do not remove it. Run VobBlanker on the file you saved the Ripit4me results in and send the results of VobBlanker to a separate empty file. (Remove the original movie dvd from the drive.) Use DVD Shrink 3.2 on that file. After Shrink is finished , you can use whatever you want to burn the ISO file. I used DVD Decrypter. The disc plays in both my Dvd player and the computer.

RI4M works just as well in 1-Click mode.
I did Saw 3 (full disc) in RI4M using the 1-Click. It took about 32 minutes for the rip. DVD Decrypter inserting Dummy Sectors slowed it down a bit, but processing with FixVTS was also included in the RI4M process. I did a transcode and burn with DVDCopy 5, about another 17 minutes. I used DVDCopy 5 because it's faster than Shrink and has good quality. I'll be doing it over in RB Pro later. (DVD Shrink should have no problems. Quality Settings should be used due to the 7GB size.) None of the software had a problem and the backup was done in about 50 minutes.
The formula: RipIt4Me 1.6.4.0 with the updated FixVTS 1.6.0.3. Transcoders optional, but in this case DVDCopy 5.

lol - glad you could read my post - god awful typos :)
Checked again and yes those title's gave me the error too. Just hit cancel and uncheck them.
The ONLY titles I left checked were 8 (main movie), 13 (deleted scenes), 05 & 14 (lions gate logo).
Removed all but the ac3/6 audio and the compression was 91% so hardly any used.
Here's a link for the beta 6.1.1.1 AnyDVD that I used:
http://sandbox.slysoft.com/SetupAnyDVD6111.exe
RipIt4Me worked on the full disc too even after Decrypter gave a bunch of patch errors.

Did you update the FixVTS to 1.6.0.3? I just did Saw 3 with RI4M and not one error. All DVD Decrypter did was note inserting Dummy Sectors a lot and RI4M blanked them.

That looks like the error that was being made with the older FixVTS. Did you double check the version number on the opening window of RI4M?

binkie, is 6111 the latest upgrade? I have 6107 which still states as anydvd's latest upgrade, how did you obtain 6111? I sit because it's a beta? if I was to downlaod as you stated, how would it affect my 6107 that is not a beta if 6111 is, I always get new update notices from AnyDVD when they have a new one when I start my computer, so far I havent gotten any news about 6111, or if it is a beta they are waiting to fully program it before they release 6111 to everybody, this is intersting.

Yes it's a beta that's why no update notice from AnyDVD.
Beta is a stage of testing so once they are comfortable w/ it they then release it officially.
You can just install on top of 6.1.0.7 - what I usually do. I also keep a few of the old .exe's around just in case.

Strange how some drives read better than others. I've got a set and the HP reads better than the Plex, but the Plex is the better burner. When everything is working right, Saw 3 should be a walk in the park. The guys at Lionsgate shouldn't have wasted their time.

Yes it is - but I've seen it before on aD where some drives will not read these heavily copy protected/ mastering errors dvd's.
I think Saw 3 is going to be one of those.
Best bet try another drive.
This is the 1st time in years - if ever - I have had 1 give me that kind of error reading it. But luckily I have quite a few drives :)
