Can't copy saw 3 - **just needs DVDFab Decrypter**

20 pages thats crazy. i tried to use AnyDVD and clonedvd2 and it didnt work. when i put it in my drive it makes my drive run HARD. AnyDVD has a hard time removing the protections and takes a while. when i start clonedvd2 it starts out okay loud drive and all like there is someone hacking down a tree in there and then it stops saying its trying to repair a fake dvd structure or something which i have never seen before. it does that for a bit gets to like 2% repairing and then stops states that an unexpected error had occured and wont proceed any farther.

Not really following you post on how to use CloneDVD w/o a dvd player.
One drive is fine - it will just read from it then when done the drive will open and ask you to insert a blank disc.
@DVDRyaN
Are you using one of the betas of AnyDVD - 6.1.1.1 or 6.1.1.2 and unchecking the bad titles 1st? When you get the repair dvd structure pop up when unchecking the bad titles just click cancel.
Or use RipIt4Me.

no im using 6.1.0.7 and i don wanna use ne thin but AnyDVD & clonedvd2. when it says repairing dvd structure its soon after i begin editing what i want opn the disk in the 1st page of clonedvd2, but if i click canceoll it will give me the same "unexpected error" and preview screen will just go black with the error.

I did Saw 3 (Uncut version) Tuesday using AnyDVD 6107 and CloneDVD2 just the movie with little problem. You just have to give CloneDVDtime to read and rip the disc.

binkie if i do that i'll end up with a coaster like one of the members here did (2 pages down i belive) anyways is rip it 4 me auto like 1 click button that does all work?????? i want to do all options not un selecting some or such

Do movie only as garmoon suggested or update AnyDVD to one of the beta's.
The error showing up in the preview screen in the title configuration screen of CloneDVD is ok. It will still copy - just need to uncheck the bad titles.

I did it that way too - you're only unchecking the bad sectors. If you like set CloneDVD to write to the hard drive instead. Then try and play the files. All okay then burn w/ Nero burning rom or express.
Use one of the beta of Clone - that's what I tested this with.

You put the original dvd into your drive and set CloneDVD to copy the movie to your hard drive. The movie will be copied to your hard drive first and once it's finished it will prompt you to insert a blank media into the drive. Once you do this, it will burn your mivie top the dvd.
BTW - there a edit button right above to the right of the reply box.

Sorry gus738 missed the RipIt4Me part - yes you can use 1 click mode then when it's get to Shrink just need to click BackUp.
This one has several audios so with either Clone or Shrink I would uncheck all but the 5.1 or in Clone AC3/6.

I just used ripit4me, the latest dvddecrypter,fixvts and dvdshrink; burned with Nero. The complete dvd, menus included. I used the one click option. No problem at all.

Its simple to do a full disc backup if you just use Ripit4me in the 1 click mode....

Oh yeah, and we have The Grudge 2 -- this one is definitely going to be a problem for sure because it's SONY. However, never give up, there's RipIt4Me and I'm ready for it. It's good once in a while when there's challenge like these.

Yeah I've seen the protection list on Open Season - no worries on my end either. I'll do it like I did Saw 3 - AnyDVD (beta versions unless that changes) then find & uncheck the bad sectors and then anythimg else I don't want.
Then after Clone/AnyDVD I'll use useRipIt4Me too.

Yes, both Open Season and The Grudge 2 are going to be fun just like SAW 3 UNRATED EDITION. There's no doubt, it's good to use RipIt4Me nowadays, especially if it's SONY or LIONSGATE and I highly suggest "all newbies" to learn/get RipIt4Me as well -- afterall, it's FREE.
To be honest, I think Sony's ARccOS or Puppetlock is more stronger/nastier than Macrovision's RipGuard.

Not much longer than installing AnyDVD and CloneDVD 2, and a lot easier to use once it's set up. Hard to beat 1-Click. And yes to AnyDVD and CloneDVD 2 on the backup, but you have to edit some files. Preview indicates which plus the problem sections are being posted around the forum.

LOL I agree with you. Your post would have been a good place to pull the plug on Saw 3. Saw 3 is old news now. A few people are still having problems, but most are getting it now thanks to you and the others here at AD. I'm sort of surprised Slysoft hasn't got an update yet. Heard anything on DVDFab Decrypter yet? DVDIdle was promising to get an update for the Saw 3 Unrated problem.

you have to let ripit4me do the first decrypte, then do the second phaze (fixvts) then when that is done I used roxio easy dvd copy ver 7 & not the update one hope this will help

I'm fast becoming a Ripit4me convert over AnyDVD with their slow progress. DVD Fab which I seldom used, crapped out completely. Yeah Saw3 is old news now. It was a fun Tuesday and looking forward to more. Hadn't seen this much action here at AD in a while. I didn't notice any flaming or bad manners or anything. Just a few too many Saw3 threads.
