Anybody know why the slysoft site only has AnyDVD version 6.1.0.7? They don't have the betas users of the product are talking about such as 6.1.1.2. which I recently got the version of it here for those who want it. All you do is install it and reboot your pc.

Yeah the beta's out there and I got it, BUT it doesn't totally solve the problem. They have had 4+ days to crack the nut but haven't.

@garmoon

I also have been using the AnyDVD/CloneDVD2 combo for years now and am truly puzzled as to what is taking so long for them to come up with a new version(s)that will fix this. I like the ease of use of the 2 programs and hope they get their act together. If not, I'll be using the other progs even though they may take a bit longer to use.

I have a nice clean copy without previews. I kinda like to have the entire disc ripped just like an original.

There are some really good tutorials that were recently posted here on AD. Have you browsed through all the replies? Especially the most recent ones that provide printscreens. Instead of DVDFAB, why not try burning with CLONEDVD2 or another software to see how you make out.

I was able to burn the movie with the help of this guide.

Good Luck, Jay

Ripit4me will definitely do this movie you should get the updated version of RI4M and FixVTS with this installer, click on download ripit4me and when next window opens look for the red installer link and install the new versions of both programs. Then Use shrink and Git-R-Dun

I copied it using the tutorial for AnyDVD and CloneDVD. I removed the bad sectors manually and it copied just fine. However, it won't play! Now I am trying with the RipIt4Me app to see if this works. Funny, this is even a Sony movie unless they own Lionsgate Films. I hope this method works. I normally use AnyDVD and CloneDVD, which I had to pay for but well worth it, because the company is good at cracking all the new protection that comes out. This one must have them stumped but I have faith that eventually they will crack it!

I burned a good copy of the whole movie(unrated version)including the menus and extra features use the following link::
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/422740

I used RipIt4Me v1.6.6.0
DVD Shrink v3.2
Burned using both UltraISO v7.5.6.1045 and IMGBurn v2.1.0.0
No problems at all. Just follow the guide and it will work!

YAY!!!! It works!!!! Just tested in the DVD player after using this method and it works perfectly. Takes a lot longer that AnyDVD and CloneDVD combo, but that is fine with me.

A few people are still having problems, but most are getting it now thanks to you and the others here at AD. I'm sort of surprised Slysoft hasn't got an update yet. Heard anything on DVDFab Decrypter yet? DVDIdle was promising to get an update for the Saw 3 Unrated problem.

@PacMan777

Fengtao from DVDFab is working on it as we speaks, he's waiting for his original copy of SAW 3 UNRATED EDITION to be delivered to him so he can look at the entire IFO and the whole disc. He's usually on top with updates that'll simply rip any ordinary RipGuard or ARccOS easily, but SAW 3 UNRATED EDITION is a rare one, it has 99 VTS and tons of corrupted sectors and unreferenced vts/cells.

A member from "cdfreaks" said he/she can rip and backed up SAW 3 using the latest beta from DVDFab Decrypter 3066. However, there are different protections around the world with different regions. So I can't really comment on that part.

Hi,

dskiff, it's good to know 3.0.6.6 Beta works for you

Dear all, please make sure you are using 3.0.6.6 Beta, not 3.0.6.5 Beta or earlier version.

My SAW III should be arrived in this weekend or next monday, then I can check it completely.

Best Regards,
Fengtao

Did you use the beta version of AnyDVD? 6.1.1.1 & 6.1.1.2 both work if you remove the bad sectors to do a full back up.

Yes I agree Sony's stuff is tougher than Macrovision.
Saw 3 is an unusual one but I think it's going to be the wave of the future :)

I'm fast becoming a Ripit4me convert over AnyDVD with their slow progress. DVD Fab which I seldom used, crapped out completely. Yeah Saw3 is old news now. It was a fun Tuesday and looking forward to more. Hadn't seen this much action here at AD in a while. I didn't notice any flaming or bad manners or anything. Just a few too many Saw3 threads.

@garmoon

Welcome to the wagon buddy. Yep, all I used is either RipIt4Me or DVDFab, since DVDFab (even with betas) "can't touch" the UNRATED EDITION, Fengtao is waiting for his original copy of SAW 3 UNRATED EDITION to be delivered to him and he'll go from there.

Despite of all these corrupted SAW 3 threads, SONY + their corrupted vts, bogus sectors and unreferenced cells; again RipIt4Me is the clear winner.

Best of luck!!

I'm confident that RipIt4Me will be around for a long time simply because this awesome tool is anonymous.

I agree, this is what a community/forum is all about; helping out each others and trying to solve what needs to be done.

I couldn't agree with you more. No matter what they try, there is only so much that can be done to a DVD before it is completely unplayable. RipIt4Me will always find a way. A lot of it is due to the large amount of users and their input that keeps the updates coming.

Please remove the bogus titles that are on this DVD in the CloneDVD2
title configuration window. TitleSets: 01/04/06/07/15/16/17

You will recognize them because they only display a black screen in the
preview window.

If you want to use another compression program, use CloneDVD2 to rip to
harddisk (select DVD-DL as output size, so CloneDVD will not compress).

I used the RipIt4Me method and Got the movie backed up but it will not play in the dvd player I play everything on but will play on my daughters. I used the same method to back up The Guardian and again it will only play on my daughter's too. Funny as everything plays on my living room dvd player but the RipIt4Me method ones...

Some players particularly Panasonic players are very picky. When using RipIt4Me, uncheck "Remove Tiny Cells" and "Remove Useless Cells" in the preferences settings. If I'm not mistaken some Sony players have this problem too.

I have been trying to back up my saw 3 since wednesday. It was already getting personal. I have tried it with AnyDVD and DVD Shrink, but dvdshrink will not even analyze the sucker. Then I started reading the threads in here. Last Friday I tried using ripit4me but it still won't do it. This morning I tried it using CloneDVD, but to no avail. Then I read some more of the threads. I downloaded fixvts. Installed it and run it with ripit4me, of course u have to disable AnyDVD if u have it in the background. I used the 1-click method in ripit and it worked like a charm. It went to dvddecrypter to dvdshrink. From dvdshrink i was able to encode the sucker. Then burned it using dvddecrypter once more. Once it was done burning, walked over to my dvd player, boom there it is. Mind u,this is a full dvd back up. Thanks to all the super smart people who first posted the thread. AnyDVD just have a 6113 version. i dont know if this will fix the problem with saw 3. If it will, then the rest ofyou guys dont have to go through all the stuffs i went through. good luck to all.
