If I have missed the last few updates do I just have to update the just the latest version? I thought so, but I didn't want to miss something in previous updates.

You should be able to update to the current version with no worries, each one overwrites itself.

Not to fear. The latest program is supposed to have all the improvements over earlier versions. So you're not missing anything. Not everyone started from the first AnyDVD release and worked up till now with each version. Lucky for all of us it doesn't work that way. So the guy that buys the app new tomorrow is in just as good shape as the guy starting with older versions. Problem is the new guy has to pay more. ;)
