thanks jobbers..
is there a easy way to update to 3.52 ? i mean a winstaller like we have for 3.03 and 3.40 oe-c..plz let me know..i am sick of playing wid my recoveries now..my tomb raider is also not wrking..so is metal gear and rachet..

yes vineet,it just so happens i have one,i used it to change from 3.40oe to 3.52 m33,here it is,its foreign but v easy to follow,just click next and choose the 2nd option down,which says update from .3.40oe ,it works brill,i used it and mine is great

i am able to play metal gear, tekken and tomb raider(its kinda slow) but rachet doesnt shows up still...m on 3.52 now , the CPY freq is set to default..should i set it to 333Mhz?

hi,same here,my tomb raider is a little stuttery loading up,but once the game is in play its fine,you will find ratchett and clack wont play with the cpu set at default,it seems to be one of those games,but you are on the right lines with setting it higher,mine will play fine if i set it at 333mhz,by the way there is an update you need to install now,its the 3.52 m33-2 update,its supposed to iron out a few little bugs,its on the auto installer but can be found quite easily thru google too.

Actually 3.52-3 was just released. Ability to play video iso (root/ISO/VIDEO), built in ability to dump umd's, vshmenu that enables you to change xmb/game speed while on the xmb, and 3.30 pops capabilities. Very nice update imo.

I just upgraded from 3.40OE to 3.52. However, I am trying to update to M33-2 but I can't find /kd/popsman.prx, /kd/pops.prx, /vsh/modules/libpspvmc.prx and /vsh/modules/pafmini.prx which I am supposed to copy them to the Seplugins folder. It also says on the read me file that I have to extract the following prx of a firmware: /kd/popsman.prx, /kd/pops.prx, /vsh/modules/libpspvmc.prx and /vsh/modules/pafmini.prx and copy them to /seplugins/popsloader/ with names like popsman3XX, pops3XX.prx, libpspvmc3XX.prx, pafmini3XX.prx, where XX is 40, 51, or 52.
Not quite sure understand this part, can anyone help please?

hi all,
i am on 3.52 update 3 , i am still new to this FW's , how can i fully exploit this firmware? are there any XMB themes for this verison and if so where and how can i install them?also, my rachet game still doesnt starts at 333Mhz XMB freq. any idea how can i make it working?

The contents you mentioned are for plugins wich are extra features that you may not even need. I did not install them.
The update is in the folder named psp, it will go like this if you click on the folders.......psp/Game 150/M33Update/EBOOT.PBP
If you drag and drop the folder named M33Update (with EBOOT.PBP in it) to your mem card under the folder Game 150, It should work.
After placing it there restart psp with no game disk inserted and click on memory stick under game catagory and it should show up as 3:33:33. click on it and it should install. And dont forget to make sure you are using an external power adapter to prevent problems that a dying battery would create.

Thanks for your suggestion. I got M33-2 going. Just can't get the WWW going although my connection is showing OK.

i av installed 3.03 OE-C Winstaller n trayin to play ISO's. so ISO's workin fine but when i try to play CSO file it says game cannot be started. can anybody help me plzzzz.... thx...

what game is it??? you may need to upgrade to 3.40 oe to play that game!!! all new games up to about a month ago need 3.40 oe then all games coming out now will need the new firmware which is 3.52 m33 which i dont no much about. i can help with 3.40 oe which i recommend you upgrade to now.But at some point you and i will need to upgrade again to 3.52 m33 if you want to play the new tomb raider

i'm still not able to play rachet, though i am on 3.52 m33-3 with my XMB freq. set to 333Mhz and USB/ISO frew. set to default. any help guys?

just go to the wininstaller thread for 3.40oe and download the file, connect you PSP to your PC, run the file and update the FW. its quite easy..

by the way if you want to update your FW to 3.52 m33, do this

Rhinogolf- save it to your computer then extract it and run it off your comp when extracted-it works a treat i upgraded mine with it.
