I have a game: Burnout Legends [PSP] and in the rar file there is a DH folder a ISO and PSP folder. When i unzip it to my E drive it shows the burnout game but when i click to play it doesn't load....do i need a software that will do it? I heard of devhook but i dont know what it is. thanks

for some iso/cso game to load u need a umd(demoUMD will also work) in side ur psp(UMD drive)!!!just try putting an UMD inside the umd drive and it should work fine but if it dont work then the iso/cso might be bad/damaged/not correct!!!

im am glad that the guy got his working but i dont no how to get mine working when i downloaded Scarfave WinRAR archive folder did i need to extract it to the drive witch my psp is in? And I have an iso folder outside the psp should i put the iso folder in the game bit inside my psp folder

one thing is when i extract my files to my psp well extract to :E it extracts them all but dose not show on my games

well u didnt mentioned which type of game it is!!!

anyways if it is .iso/.cso file(like nfsc.iso or nfsc.cso)then it should go to ISO folder in ur psp drive tht is E:\ISO\(ur iso/cso game files go here)

if it is EBOOT.PBP(w/wo KEYS.BIN) file then it should go to PSP\GAME folder in ur psp drive tht means E:\PSP\GAME\GameName(ur own made folder name as u like)\EBOOT.PBP(the EBOOT.PBP with or without KEYS.BIN go here)

ok i have downloaded a game called nba 07 but there is no iso or cso files in the archive i have extracted on WinZIP and it only shows umd.date.bin (BIN file) and PSP_GAME and even when i got into the folers it does not show any iso file or cso is there somthing i have to do?

well open UMDGen and drag ur umd.date.bin (BIN file) and PSP_GAME in umdgen explorer under NO LABEL!!!then remane NO LABEL to NBA or wat ever and click on save and save as uncompressed(*.iso)!!!then copy it in ur PSP drive's ISO folder and see wheather it plays or not!!!!!!(ur psp must contain an umd inside while playing iso/cso files)

when i save it to my desktop it is still the same as what i downloaded a WinRAR archive and when i open it it still has umd dat bin and PSP_GAME has not canged into iso file

i put the files UMD.DATE.BIN to the umdgen and the PSP_GAME to i saved straight on to my psp rather than on my desktop and it worked dont no how but it worked

well to see the file u downloaded is iso or not in ur pc plse do this- go to my computer then click tools in the upper left corner and folder option window will come,click in the view tab,there u'll find "Hide extensions for know file types" under "show hidden files and folders"!!unckeck "Hide extensions for know file types" and and now go to where u downloaded the psp game file(which u said was WinRAR archive)and check wheather it's an NBA2007.iso or NBA2007.rar!!!if its nba2007.iso then u need nothing else then to copy it to ur psp and if it nba2007.rar then first extract the .rar file and .iso file comes out then just copy to psp!!!!!!wish this helps!!!sorry if u get problems understanding my words!!!good luck!!!!

hi
i had a PSP 2.5
i upgraded it to 2.71 and then downgraded it to 1.5
i have downloaded loads of new games like eragon, killzone etc
i extract them using WinRAR and i end up with an ISO image
i have devhook 0.22, devhook .46 with 2.71 frimware and umd emulator
i copy the iso files of the games in the iso folder
but the game doesnt load up
can anybody tell me wht i should do??

Have you tried download UMDGen that is easy to use and lets you make and iso file. But when you extract your files extract them to the umdgen then save as the game name to desktop and it should come as a WinRAR icon if it did put the saved file in an iso fill outside ur psp date

i already have the iso images
wht i wanna know is do i need a new software like devhook to load the games cause some of the games load up and they start but then the PSP just restarts automatically
any ideas wht to do????

yes well if you using the firmware 1.5 witch you are you need devhook to play your games i would sugest you upgrade to 3.03-oec on that you can do exactly the same but no need devhood ect thats what i use 3.03oec have a look back on page one of this forum you will find a link that shows you how to download 3.03oec
