u r doing it wrong u have to upgrade to 3.03 first!!!!!
then u need to do the downgrade from 3.03 to 1.5
and any more problem just ask and i'm here to help u out anyway i can!!!!!goodluck

Sorry late repl junk had food poisoning :( erm ok so i upgrade to 3.03 take it the link is in this thread sumwhere or psp-hacks webby. then i use the 303dg as shown above and then the 3.10 upgrade also shown above thanks m8 :D i shall try that tomorow on my day off

the easyupgrader didnt work :( still on fw 2.82 :S can u advise me on what is the best 1 to upgrade to 3.03 then to downgrade to 1.50 and then upgrade to 3.10oe or 3.03oe
god i seem like a right dumbo think its my psp not co-operating

hello i have been reading this topic and it convinced me to join this forum, but i have a few questions of my own, yesterday i was able to downgrade my psp back to 1.5 then i upgraded it to 3.10 OE-A
can i still play PSP roms or isos or whatever their name is with that custom version? if so how?
i have downloaded PSP Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX USA, when i unzip the rar i get a 1K file called UMD_DATA and a folder called PSP_GAME, inside that folder there are 2 other folders called SYSDIR and USRDIR (there are a LOT of files inside those folders so i´m not gonna name them), 2 PNG images and a file called PARAM.SFO
where do i put the game inside my PSP? do i need a program to start it? if so which?
a friend gave me a program called device hook V0.46 lancher does that help?

If you firmware is 3.03 like mine was you definetely need GTA: LCS (unpatched version)
do i did go to second hand stores to look for it

3.03 udate must go to UPDATE folder of ur psp like X:\PSP\GAME\UPDATE\(here goes the 3.03 EBOOT.PBP)

then go to ur game menu then press x to start 3.03 upgarde!!!!

u need to put the "UMD_DATA and the folder PSP_GAME" to UMDGen(google it plse)
then save it as an iso/cso
then copy the .iso file of ur game to ISO folder of ur psp's drive(make one if there isnt one)!!!!!

Lets say I have I have downgraded to 1.5 and upgraded to 3.10OE-A. Where do I put my ISO files? Do I have to download another program? I feel like while I am downgrading and upgrading with custom firmware, and using other programs that I may do something wrong and totally ruin my PSP. What stuff should I be careful to not do?

in 3.10OE-A u dont need any extra software to play iso/cso files!!! There r less chances to ruin ur psp if u understand wat u r doin with it!!!always be care full while flashing ur psp!!!and its the easiest way to use ur psp by having custom fireware(as long as i know)!!!
*edited*ohh forgot ot say u need to copy ur iso/cso files to ISO folder(make one if there isnt one) in ur psp MS(drive) to play it directly from ur GAME->MEMORY STICK? menu(only in custom firewares)!!!

i am a noob at this. i have 1.50. but it dont want to up date to 3.03oe or any thing i have a t-82 mother board. and had to pat it to drown grade it and i dont think i have any more sweet to take another chance. i cant get devhook to play ant iso i have tryed daxziso and it start a game and then freeze. can any one help

ok this is what happened.. i wanted to install 3.03OE-C and i downgraded mine to fw1.5 already so i was following the instructions.. until i reached to the point where i was installing the flasher and i saw
[panic....
{panic ...
Blah
blah and blah
and then something like ... writing v1.5 0%
i waited a while and nothing happened .. so i turned my psp off.. and then i couldn't turn it back on..
does that mean i brick my psp?
if so how do i get it fix? and how much would it cost?

I had 3.03 the sony one. then i downgradeit it 1.5 by using gta lcs. so now i have a pure 1.5 how do i upgraded to 3.03OE-C thanks

oh srry but i forgat to say can i put iso games on my 1.5 and how?
i downloaded a game from bitcomet and when i open the folder there are a lot WinRAR folder by th name psy-sre apper and whn i press on any one an iso folder appers inside so am i on the right track? one more question if i have 3.03OE-c can i still play hombrew games and iso and psx games and would demos work on my psp and would i have intrent

Question, I am downloading GTA Vice City Stories, but the file size 9(RARed) is 719MB, does it get smaller once it is on your PSP, cause Sony's memory stick is only 512 MB.
I understand the rest of it, but just, the filesize is the problem for me. I hope it gets smaller :D

hi guys i've downloaded a naruto rar file but inside is another folder named naruto.nultimate.portable. When i opened to folder it contained this folder another naruto.nultimate.portable and when i opened that folder it contained these folders; narutonp, psp and x and a text file the text file said "Copy the portfolios narutonp, x and PSP in the root of the Memory Stick.
how to make it work:
We load the executable of the RumUMD, and once initiate we press "x",y it began to load the Game"
When i tried the path it didn't work
Now when I try extracting the ISO using UMDgen i can't seem to get a umd_data.bin the folders inside those folder i mentioned has to many files i dunno what to extract in order to play the game. Usually I just extract one folder and it gives you a UMD_data.bin.
Any help guys?? Thanks
I am a poor person who luckily owns a PSP but too poor to buy a lot of original games!!!

hey there. i downloaded Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops the other day, and since it was a torrent file, i had to use those torrent downloader things. anyway, when i opened the folder, it had lots of files. and example of one filename is a-mgsops.001 or something like that.. how do i make it playable on my psp? :(

hey there
i origonally had a proper 1.5v and used devhook .46 with no problems, for some reason i decided to upgrade to 3.03OE-C i think curiosty won, now though i cant start as many games that used to work with devhook like rachet and clank, if its not posible to get this working on this firmware can i downgrade back to 1.5
