Arggghh!
I just realized that the # listed as "Do not use if you have this #" is inside the UMD tray. I didn't see it before, so I thought it was okay.
Am I done? Is there no hope?

ok.
I need SERIOUS HELP.
I'm trying to get these demo games to work, but they're not. There are 5 corrupted files (it says this) under the mem. stick file under games on the psp. I have fw 3.3
I'm not sure if I set up the folders up right but this is how they are:
E:, then ISO and PSP. ISO has nothing in it. PSP has the GAME MUSIC VIDEO and MP_ROOT in it. Under GAME I have my 4 demo games; killzone liberation, medal of honor, TOCA race driver 3 challenge, and Syphon filter. In each of those there are the EBOOT.PBP files, and some other .drm, etc. files.
Can ANYONE please PLEASE tell me what's wrong, and how I fix it, and how I get it to work!
thanks! hurry!!

ill tell you whats wrong, you can NOT play downloaded games because you downloaded to the "land of forbidden homebrew FW" which is 3.10 and up. any FW that is 3.10 and up does not support ANY downloaded games. sucks for you.

Okay,
So as to not screw things up this go 'round,
How can you (step by step, please) play ISO/CSO's when your psp is fw 2.71? Please advise, and thank you.

if your psp is FW 3.30, you can not play games.
If your psp is FW 2.71..
1. Upgrade to 2.80
2. Use the 2.80 downgrader to go back to 1.5
3. Upgrade to DAX's 3.10 OE-A' FW
4. Drop ISO/CSO files into the ISO folder of your psp
5. The ISO folder will automatically be made when u upgrade to 3.10 OE-A'
6. All these stuff can be found at www.psp-hacks.com

Thanks.
Is it possible, though, to play the .cso's without first having yo dg? Can 2.71 not be upgraded to DAX 3.10 directly?
And again, thanks for your assistance.

So what you are saying is:
1.) You deleted everything on the memory stick first, then put the downgrader on your memory stick.
2.) You ran the dowgrader.
3.) You waited for it to reboot.
4.) Now it won't turn on.
That what you are saying?

Yeah. I didn't realize, though, that the IEE101C (or whatever) was in the UMD tray. So, when I didn't see it where it appeared to be in the picture, I went ahead and dg'd. AND...
Because I have a unit with the "do not downgrade" motherboard on it, nothing comes on now. From what I've been reading, I have a very nice paper weight now. Is that right?

Hi,
I have a problem. I got the game, but i have no idea how to install it on my PSP 3.03OE-A. When i decompressed the downloaded file i got the structure like this:
PSP.Game.NarutoNultimatePortable.Japan.PACK5
└─PSP.Game.NarutoNultimatePortable.Japan.PACK
├─narutonp
│ ├─SYSDIR
│ └─USRDIR
│ ├─modules
│ ├─movie
│ └─sound
│ ├─bgm
│ └─voice
├─PSP
│ └─GAME
│ ├─%__SCE__NARUTONP
│ └─__SCE__NARUTONP
└─x
└─flash1
├─dic
├─net
│ └─http
├─registry
└─vsh
└─theme
All instrucions come in spanish
Can somebody help me to install this game?

To eggtrip:
Are the games csos or isos?
To jsbulat:
Get "UMDGen" here: http://umdgen.ps3news.com/
Then open "UMDGen" up.
Then open the folder "narutonp".
Where you should see the folders "SYSDIR" & "USRDIR" etc...
Drag all the files here to the big empty space inside the "UMDGen" window.
Then near the top left of the window click on "Save".
Then choose "ISO" or "CSO" (ISO is bigger in size than CSO, but CSOs might run slower than ISOs.)
Then create a name and then click on continue.
After it has finished drag the file into your PSP's drive in: X:/PSP/ISO. (If an ISO folder is not present, create one.)
ALL the other files are useless. They do not come from the game.

"To eggtrip"
Are your games downloaded or ripped?
"To wesdude00"
Yes, custom firmware will allow you to boot homebrew apps.

does your psp still work? cause it doesnt matter if u have a TA-082 motherboard psp below 2.80. any versions of psp or motherboard is compatable with the 2.80 downgrader. I recently bought a brand new psp from walmart and it was 2.60. i upgraded it to 2.80, used the 2.80 downgrader back to 1.5 then upgraded to 3.10OE-A'. good thing about the 2.80 downgrader is that it works with ALLLLL motherboards, and it is very simple.

no you can not directly upgrade like that. ALL OE firmwares MUST be upgraded from 1.5. in your case, it is possible to downgrade to 1.5 using the 3.03 downgrader.
