Hi Tizler,
Does that modulator allow you to have all the channels on more then one TV?
Can you post an eBay link to the unit you bought?

that modulator only lets you watch what you see on the box, cant watch the other digital channels, but you can tune in BBC1 etc in separately, like in the old days, Now I havent tested it on just the Nhell cable, but should work, as i have my normal roof aerial plugged in - but am sure it would work, but didnt want to go around and have to retune 4 tvs with t he new settings. If you get stuck, shout
It really is a good piece of kit

Yes thats the one and can highly recommend, it was posted tues, as monday was bank holiday and arrived this morning. I tell you, I am delighted, does the job perfect and saved me a lot of hassle. Also, cos i had my outdoor aerial into the sky box, so could tune in the normal channels too, i tested and plugged that into the modulator and it does work. Saves me re tuning all my normal channels again as they are on a diff frequency with Nhell. But - at a guess, if you do not have this and just plug the replay direct in - u can just tune in those channels too. Are you allowed to post pics on here? I just screen shot the instructions, might be helpful to people - can i do that? i have it hosted on photobucket and posted about it on another forum i am on

Since yoe can clone a box, you must already have a null modem lead.
Download the file below to your desktop.
Its a file called dub channel fav.
http://www.speedyshare.com/525336958.html
It has all my channels and favourites on it. All are working.
You need a null modem lead part number L71BT Don't accept anything that has not got this part number on it.
You can get one in maplins.
Download the stb link file below to your desktop.
http://www.speedyshare.com/490167957.html
Connect the null modem lead from your PC to the box.
Run the stb link file.
Click Write Factory Data.
Get the file dub channel fav from your desktop.
Click Write Factory Data There are 64 blocks to upload.
Wait a couple of minutes more after your PC has read all blocks transferred.
The red/green light should be flashing much more quickly than it was when you could visibly see the files transferring.
Then unplug the null modem lead and the box.
Power up the box again and in a few moments all my channels and favs will be on your box.
It will be quicker than cloning, and I have all the channels stored in that file.
below is a list of all my channels that are on the dub_chan_fav

Hi Moggser,
I just clicked on those links in my post and they are working ok.
Did you download them and are you trying to flash the box with them.
The dub channel file is a text file with lots of text and numbers,
You have to transfer that file to your box from your PC.
Click on the stblink file
choose RUN
choose Write factory
Get that text file from your desktop
Choose Write factory
You will see the file transferring,
When your PC has read all blocks transferred, WAIL a minute longer for the light on the box to be flashing really really quickly a lot more quickly than it was when you could visibly see the files transferring.
Good luck moggser, take your time and you will be fine.

Hi moggser,
Delighted you up and running.
Celtic TV should work in your crib and the epg will update itself after the box has been turned on for a while.
Happy viewing brother.

That's probably the reson alright moggser, but sometimes it takes a while for the box to update, but you are probably right about nobody in your area has it. The frequency is right because mine is working.
I am in Donnycarney, Dublin.
Just post your area, roughly, and we will know if anyone has it in your area. Hopefully someone on the forum here will get back to us. What ya think??
