Hi Kizzy101, He He,
There hasn't been a frequency chabge on Setanta 2, it still on Freq 394.
Doing a full scan should have found it, so it might be a cable problem.
You can do a full scan again at these settings.
Start Freq 200
End Freq 403
Symbol Rate 6887
Constellation 64 Qam
Search By Network on
When all channels are found select View.
This should take no longer than 5 Mins.
Or you could dp a manual search on Freq 394
To do a manual search on the replay lite box.
Menu,
User Installation,
Manual Search?.OK
Up pops the Manual Search box.
Channel number: CH 1.
Frequency: 394 (what ever freq you want)
Symbol Rate: 6887 (what ever your area symbol rate)
Constellation: 64 QAM.
Search By Network: ON.
Search
The box will find a number of channels on your selected frequency.
When the search is finished, Select VIEW.
The new channels will be now stored at the bottom of your channel list.
Eg: If you already had 120 channels stored, the new ones will be stored from 121 onwards.
The manual search will find some channels you already have, just delete them.
Take care Kizzy and never your Roots (he he)

Hi Behaner,
Your problem was you used the wrong cable to clone the box.
Now you probably have a box with just the red light on.
Use the link below, it will take you to a previous page that has the solution to your problem.
The post you are looking for is my reply to Keoghjohn.
It has two red flashing lights in it.
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/79/502990
It's about the 17th post down the page.
Make sure you buy the right cable for your file transfer.
It has to be a null modem lead part number L71BT
It can be bought in Maplins or any computer store. Make sure the it's a null modem lead with the correct part number.
Follow the instructions in that post and you can fix your box.
Good Luck M8,
Brian

Thanks Brian I'll give it a go tomorrow, the cable was an old db9 so that's probably the problem. Would you know of any places in Cork that would have a usb to female L71BT db9 cable?

If he's already used a DB9 cable then he has a serial port.

Yes he might have used the db9 cable but only box to box not using his laptop therefore he will have to us an adapter if his laptop does not have a comport on the back of it which if he is using xp i would very much doubt it

Yes indeed fergus, I missed the bit about "From box to box".

Hi Affleck1...7.44 is fine, but you'd be better upgrading to 7.56 which supports Ch**us and NtHell. You'll find all the relevant links to the s/w and instructions on Brian1956's posts over the last 3 pages.. Cheers m8
