Same for me. Had flashed 9.10 and set Auto-update on. Worked for about an hour and then stopped.

Any ideas (or codes?). At least the new interface looks better and I've got the EPG back...
Unplug the box, power it back up again and see what happens.
If you are still having problems...Reflash it it with the 910.

If you are still having problems go to this page 132 and flash as per my post there.

http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/132/502990#3968017

Just for some feedback...did you flash the 910 straight on to 752?
I flashed straight from 9.10. I unplugged the box, powered it back up and everything now seems to be fine. Thanks Brian.

Null Modem Serial Cable 9-Pin Female to 9-Pin Female: Maplin Part# L71BT

USB to Serial 9-Pin Male Adaptor: Maplin Part# ZP43W

You can check them out on their Website but they are also available from the likes of Peats & Fleabay:

The cable you have used for cloning in the past is the correct cable & will do for upgrading the firmware on your Replay Lite.

If your Laptop has not got a 9 Pin Male Serial port you will also need to get a USB to Serial 9 Pin Male Adapter.

The Adapter connects to a available USB port on your Laptop & the Null Modem cable connects between that & the Replaqy Lie Box.

You will need to install the software drivers supplied with the Adapter in order for your Laptop to recognize it. You will then need to set the port number on your laptop to either COM1 or COM2.

Here's how to set the port on your PC/Laptop.

Do the following.

START
Right Click "MY COMPUTER"
Choose "MANAGE"
In the resulting window, click on "DEVICE MANAGER"
In the right hand pane, click on the little plus sign beside "PORTS" in the right hand pane.
Right click on the USB Adapter (Should be something like "Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm. Port (COM#)
Choose "Properties"
Click on "PORT SETTINGS" TAB
Click on "ADVANCED"
Then you will see the COM Port Number Box. You should be able to change it there using the drop down box.
Try to set it to COM2
Restart Windows

Set STBLink to COM2 & try to connect.

If that fails try COM1 as the port number.

most new'ish lappys don't have serial ports which is why you can't use the null modem cable, you need to buy a USB to 9pin D serial cable, you should get a cd with it also,...you then have to assign it a port in your windows control panel, device manager, hardware, com ports settings.

Also, its a female 15 pin connection i have on the back of my laptop.

The reason you don't see ports there now is because your Laptop does not have any serial ports onboard.

You will see "Ports" once you install the Adapter.

The 15 Pin female connector you referr to is for an external monitor it is NOT a Serial Port.

Just to clarify this for you Mojo08.

You can not clone once Firmware 910 is installed.

This very handy feature is disabled in this Beta version as the key roll capture was given priority. It is hoped to re-enable this feature in future firmware releases.

No it does not matter. The USB 2.0 adapter is backward compatible with USB Rev: 1.1

Once you have both the Laptop & STBlink COM Ports set to the same number (COM1 or COM2) & your cable is definitely a NULL Modem Serial cable then it will connect.

You can use the "Yellow" button to sort them. You will see it on the matrix bottom of the screen

Power down the box & disconnect from the PC
Close STBlink.

RE- connect the box & power up
Open STBlink
DO NOT do the COM Setup
Start the 910 update & see if it forces the connection.

Try now to set-up the COM.

If that fails you should try donloading firmware 742a & flash the box with that first & then flash it again with 910.
