hi all can anybody help me i've been trying to update my replay box and i now think i've killed it. as soon as you turn it on it boots then red light. cant set-up com cant do nothing. thanxs

You hay have unplugged too quickly after flashing. This will always result in "the red light" problem.

You need to reflash with 742a which is the boot loader and then 910.

Remember, the red/green light flash intermittently during flashing and for about 1-2 minutes afterwards. Do not unplug until lights flash rapidly.

744 does not install a boot loader. You need 742a and can find a link to it in Brians post on page 132

got 742a. started stb link 520 but i cannot setup com. tried just upgrading software but no luck any more ideas mate?

Ignore set up comm

close the stblink and re open it again and just select 742a bin file and load it without setting up comm

Can anyone help me,trying to update my box with this osd910betabin.file and having no joy...i downloaded it to my desktop and when i go to open it up it doesnt know what to do with it...it says "open with"...... what should i do at this point???? thanks in advance................

You need STBlink 5.20 to open it for transfer to the box.

Follow instructions on page 132.

Hi again everyone

I know this is probably the wrong thread to ask this, but does anyone have a replay PVR for sale?

Its for my dear old mother, who believe it or not is quite into this high tech stuff, I have tried the normal places but (with a tear in my eye) have came to trust the advice from you lot of diamond geezers.

Any help would be most gratefully received.

Just going to duck now and wait for the bollocking from the mods

brian thanx for the codes but im now going to try this flashing thing iv been reading throught various posts to find what i need but not sure can u post the leads adaptors softwear basicly everything i need not up 2 speed on techy stuff and thanx for all ur efforts much appreciated
