Ah no Moggser I didnt,I`ve downloaded it now.Is it just a simple open the STB link and upgarde software like the previous ones?

I used the STB Link and write factory data to transfer Brian`s channel file and now when I plug it into my TV it just flashes on and off with a blank screen with no writing etc-previous to transferring this I had the full menu but could not find any channels when doing an autoscan.
I`m in North Dublin using NTHELL

Hi, was reading through Starview Help Files and came across this for getting extra channels.
"if you have Missing channels you can try this.
I have seen a few posts about channels missing when doing a full scan.
Here's a little trick you can try that may help if you're having problems
finding any particular channels or are missing channels:
Try and determine the lowest transponder frequency that you can get a signal on.
Look at the frequencies you already have on the channels saved so far and choose the lowest.
Then in the installation menu select MANUAL SCAN and set that as the frequency.
Make sure you can see a signal and scroll down to Network scan and change to ENABLE with the Right arrow.
While still highlighted, click OK.
Scanning should then begin. It will say 1/1 to start with but should then jump up to 1/?? (the ?? being 2 digits).
Using this method my Starview indicated it scanned 56/56 transponder frequencies as opposed to 48 in Auto scan on one main provider.
I also gained a few extra channels.
The other transponders may have been picked up by scanning other providers."
Is it possible to do this on the Replay Lite? I'm with N*L in Dublin. Have most channels but my kids want Animee which is only on Sky.

Moggser or anybody wondering if you can help me tried to flash 2 replay lites for my friend about 3 weeks ago 1st one no problem, 2nd one a dissaster spent nearly 8 hrs trying it and still no joy. I took it back today to give it another go. Open up the STB link 5.20, untick maintain user data click to upgrade software goes to connecting stays there for ever, so i pull out the power lead and put back in then i get uploading still nothing happens then this box comes up saying something like your using an old version of bootloader and i can upgrade carryon with upload or cancel but I'm still having no joy with whichever one i choose. I even tried putting on 7.42A and then 9.10 firmware but no joy. Any ideas,

strange one is this
delete the stb link then re isnstall it try it again and see what happins where in the world are you by the way?

I've tried everything closing down, starting it up and ive just tried what you suggested deleting and reinstalling and still nothing. I would'nt mind i've flashed about 35 different boxes at this stage about 6 of these were replays and this is the only one i've had hastle with I think I'll give it back as a no go, its not like there paying for my services or anything. I did another replay for this girl and a eurovox also and no probs. Tis one has me beat LOL.

ok don let it get ya ha ha never leave a good box behind :)
have you done many boxs since this box decided to give you greef? was it workin before hand is it a replay or a pvr? what on the screen when you plug into tv?

Yea i've done 2 other replays with the same computer and STB, its deffo a replay and on the screen your getting something like NA 1800 (not too sure cause i manually input codes about 10 mins ago just to get it working), I think i'll just give it back she has one thats updating sure she can get the codes of that and put them on this one LOL.
