OK. so the male 9 pin is your serial port (how old is the laptop?).

Is it showing up as such in the XP Device manager & without conflict?

What COM port number is it showing up as?

Have you tried to carry out a flash without performing the COM setup?

Do you have access to anyone with an old desktop that has a 9 pin serial port?

As a last resort you you may have to flash with 7.42a first & then with 913.

Have a read over Brians post HERE, it details how to flash the downgrade & then the upgrade, just remember in your case the upgrade will be to 913.

You don't need the box to be recognised to follow the instructions in Brian's post, It's all done from within the STBlink software?

Hi
My replay lite box is playing up again, it was working fine until Sunday morning, when I came back to switch it on in the afternoon nothing was happening, I have checked the plug and replaced the fuse but nothing, there seems to be no power at all in it, does anyone have any ideas?

Hi mate,
I usually start my scans at 338.5 on 6887 frequency.
Scans can take as little time as about a minute but if you leave about half hour till it completes you get almost 500 channels to sort through.
Hope this helps.

Can any kind soul help me out please? On my replay box a problem has developed. When I try to access the current key option it no longer goes to th screen where you can enter the latest key. The screen stays on the (current key........reset) options screen and just flashes each tim I try to select current key. Any help would be most appreciated.

I have tried that when I first noticed the current key problem, I have even flashed box again. Upon starting used the 7777 code which gave me access under parental lock to the necessary screen. There are three options there, current key, nagra and reset. I went to nagra to enter latest codes and returned to screen so I could input for the current key field. However, upon clicking the current key it does not go to the screen to input keys it just flashes a little each time selection is attempted and stays on that screen.

Why are you entering keys if you have flashed your box with the latest firmware? You should have no need to enter any keys. Have you got auto update switched on?

Which channels are missing, some of the channels have moved and you might need to do a manual scan for them?

Yes, 9.10. Look under gman's sig in eamo's library at top of this page for 9.10 and check previous pages for flashing guide from Brian.

Thanks for help I noticed that under his files the version for replay lite is 910 and under replay PVR there is a 913. Should I use 910 or 913?
