no sorry i thought you where on about the Starview the new software should have already been on that when did he get it did you put the new v4.5 on it or what did you put on it

It had 2.60 on it and he bought it last week , It scanned all stations ok but couldnt access menu 1570 to turn EMU key on so I updated it to 4 and that worked , so he is happy now

hi lads, ryan was saying earlier that certain versions couldnt access the secret menu that could be one reason!

les i am not to sure about the v4 the box is different from the Starview software where did you get it from you would want to check to make sure it wont nacker the box up

Ya that was the v2.58 it is the only one as far as i know

as far as i am aware the Starview software is not compatable but i cloud be wrong that is why we cannot use the v4.5 on starviews the files are different

It was ... thebox_H20070607_400eE.api and got the link from a post of Ryan , it worked perfect and I think cos it had 2.60 thats why he couldnt get to turn the EMU key on and its "The Box"

les the link that under ryans name is for Starview box v4 can you just make sure if it is you would need to get the other one of asap i will look as well just to be certain

les have just checked that file is for Starview box so i dont really know what damage it will do to thebox because the files are different as far as i am aware

No it was you i get the 2 of you mixed up all the time les has just put the v4 on TheBox that is for the Starview i was just telling her they are different files so i dont know what is going to do now

hey guys, question for you... I did a scan but can only find 24 transponders and get 37 channels. I used to get more but for some reason the auto search is not working as well now. Am I forgetting something?

can you reset your box with factory settings and do a rescan then but wait till it is completely fin even when it said failed a few times and let me know and dont forget the emu switch it on when fin what file are you using is your box a clone

Hi Turk, if you have the cable split, put your Starview on the main connection, before the splitter, and try it again. Once you have all the channels scanned in, you should be able to move it back to where you have it now, and it should be OK.
If it scans OK, and doesn't show the channels after you move it back, you may need a booster box as well.

ryan the v4 you have on your link is that for TheBox as well as Starview and are they compatable with each other what would happen if you put v4 on TheBox by mistake would it kill it or what
Yes turk came home early missed you all to much and as well they where all running amock here someone has to keep them in check ha ha

v4 under my post is for Starview.i don't think they are compatible but it won't kill the box my mate but v4 for the Starview on his the box and all that happened was it came up "no signal" then when he put v4 for the box on it,it worked fine.
