marlynn, look at my post on previous page. Cactikid is on n*l, and if I remember correctly you are on c****s, so that's why he/she has digital, and you don't.

thanks eamo. had a look at that link. yeah he does appear to be, but he said he had m8's in bray/greystones area, but they must but on N** line too.
was looking back on earlier postings on this thread and i thought i saw someone using another type of receiver who did'nt have digital and was getting signal?

My starview box went down the other day
i can only get the channel with out the dollar sign
all the rest say auto updating
i have tried the factory reset like 5 times
and all my codes are upto date
and EMU switched on
i am on v25.7 on T*W
does any1 hav any idea what is wrong?

you need to put all the providers in not just T*W N** and c&* plus all there codes as well and check all the codes carefully you can get them here under my post on the link that says codes ok also check your emu again

hi problem fixed they could only get 37 chanels when scanned all the time,numerous times so rechecked tight aerial connection,no splitters,just cable from wallsocket,factory reset waited for english to appear switched off box for 5 seconds then on changed provider to n*l autoscan 173 chanels found stored and emu to on.
as far as i can see by switching box off/on you are rebooting box!

yes this is the correct way to reset box

Cactikid might be living 2 streets away from you and have digital, but you don't. You will just have to wait until
the provider puts it in to your area/street.

not sure m8. maybe try knocking it off at back of box for a min or so.
If that dont solve the prob, try flashing it again cause something may have corrupted it !

try a factory reset and see does it solve your problem
here is what to do
no new codes do this
1 Go to menu first
2.factory settings,password code 1668,press ok for it to delete the channels
3.Then turn your box off and wait a moment then turn back on again
4.pick your language,english then press ok.
5 go to installation,cable network n**,automatic scan.
6 once its done scanning,press exit exit twice from here
7.now your in the main menu,,press 1570 on remote pad.
8.now your in the cas menu,press the down tab once,to go to emu and turn it on,exit three times to get back to screen and view channels
